Dave: Remove the fog lamp lens and bulb. Start the T-bird, and use a trouble light or multimeter to see if you are getting current to the contacts in the bulb socket. Ground the instrument negative lead to the outside of the bulb socket and (carefully) touch the positive lead to the contact at the bottom of the socket (don't touch the outer shell of the socket with the probe or you'll short the circuit and blow the fuse. If there is electrical current getting to the contact, the bulb is not seating properly so the contacts on the bulb are not meeting the contacts in the bulb shell. If there is no current getting to the contact, there is a broken wire or a blown fuse somewhere in that circuit. I usually find that the bulb is not contacting the contact at the bottom of the socket, or the contacts are dirty and need to be cleaned (that includes the socket shell). Do that cleaning with the motor shut down. You can (carefully)push the wires into the shell and pull the whole contact board out of the bulb socket to clean the whole shebang.

First of all this is a pats anti theft no by pass //// now a better explanation is needed for what's happening but we'll try this was the battery disconnected and the alarm sounded and now your stuck in theft mode if yes you must disconnect it again and while the alarm siren or beeping horns is sounding press the button on the key fob this will stop theft mode from crippling the ignition make sure your key fobs battery is good also//// next if you lost the key fob or whatever you need to get one and program it into the system go to ford owners.Com register then download the manual then go to security and the sequence is in there for programming a key fob otherwise please post back being very specific about what's happening and why your asking this all of us here are not standing next to you for questions about it so you need to tell us did you lose the fob/only key etc. Please think carefully before you post and explain it better so we can guide you to the solution ok we'll be waiting but I think I might've solved it maybe?

The auto makers change things for appearance and I do not know if you have a door key to get in. You can input power in the cigarette lighter socket if you can get inside the car. There are some 3rd party devices which are used to maintain battery voltage to the car brain with a device which plugs into the cigarette lighter and has 1 or 2 of the square 9volt batteries, There should be enough juice to trip the trunk lock. A second method is if you have a trailer wiring plug. One of the pins in this plug is a positive charge and the body of the car is a negative. By using the positive pin in the trailer plug current can be introduced to the positive battery post and the other charge which is negative can be attached to a body part. Again you just want the electric trunk release to work.

Simple solution - your tbird has a mechanical trunk lock behind your driver seat on the face of the package shelf. Just use your key to open it.

Replaced electronic module ?????? Which electrical module ? Did you have the vehicle check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's ? Not engine OBD2 code's ,but the body control system modules . FEM - front electronic module , REM - rear electronic module plus the instrument cluster ! The main light switch is an input to the istrument cluster . Everything is done by computer , input from main light switch for park lamp activation or headlamps ,running light's etc.. to the instrument cluster . The instrument cluster has a microprocessor inside ,with logic . The I/C will send a message over the SCP serial data communication bus to the other modules ,and the one the message is intended for will read it an turn on the light's or what ever the message tell's it to. The park light's flash when ? Opening the doors , when starting the vehicle ????? Content theft system function ? do the horns sound too ?

Do you know what a wiring diagram is an how to read it ? How to do electrical testing of the circuit with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? free wiring diagrams http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter your vehicle info year ,make , model an engine size . Under system click on body & accessories ,then under subsystem click on convertible top . Then click the search button , then on the blue link . You will see two relays , one for up an one for down .Located in AUX relay box ! This is under the dash , you maybe able to look up under the dash an see it . Change relays , just because it clicks doesn't mean it's good . Have you had any aftermarket electronics put on the vehicle ? Somebody alter wiring etc...

Check for fuel at engine and for spark at coil

Is the theft system light flashing or on steady ? If not , not a aniti-theft system problem . Don't know , without looking in service info which PATS system yours has , Ford has anti-theft systems that disable the fuel or won't let the engine crank , disables the starter circuit . You need to check for spark at a plug wire , do a fuel pressure test , find out whats missing . The engine will not start an run without spark , fuel or compression . Videos on youtube on checking the basic's . No Start Diagnostic Basics EricTheCarGuy

expansion valves are located at the inlet to the evaporator of the ac under dash it is used to allow the liquid freon to expand as gas and so operate the evaporator unless you have a problem of contamination in the ac system ( air / water) there is seldom a problem with TX valves it is controlled by the thermostat so that is most likely where the problem will be
