I'm working on a 93 escort and have no dash lights or heater fan. All other lights work Anyone have a fix?

ok under the hood were the blower motor is, or under the dash were over it may be there is a resistor there has 2 screws holding it in pace with a plug should have 4 or 5 wires on it with a test light or mult meter test for power there if you have power at the red wire the other 3 wires one is your low speed the other is med speed the 3rd id hi speed test them for power, you will need to turn your speed switch from low to med then hi to see volts there if you have power at one and not the others unplug it and put a jumper wire in there and you fan should work on what ever speed wire you have it in and if it work on all 3 speed by installing a jumper you will need to replace the resistor there a round 20 bucks .....

1993 ford escort wagon,no electric to injectors

The fuel delivery system uses an electric fuel pump to provide high-pressure fuel to the fuel injectors. The fuel pump is located at the rear of the vehicle, mounted in the fuel tank. It can be accessed by removing the rear seat.

The fuel tubes leading from the fuel tank to the engine are under pressure during vehicle operation. When the engine is turned OFF, the fuel in the fuel tubes remains pressurized for long periods of time to provide quick start-ups. Fuel not used by the fuel injectors during operation is routed back to the fuel tank through the fuel return tube.

The fuel handling components are protected by three fuel filters. A replaceable in-line fuel filter is located inside the engine compartment between the fuel tank and fuel injection supply manifold. A serviceable filter screen is located inside the fuel tank at the fuel pump inlet. A non-serviceable filter screen is incorporated into each fuel injector.

I can get you trouble shooting tips if you want them.

Manual Transmission loud metal noise 5th gear doesn't work

check the drain plug magnet for metal bits . If any the box has to come out 4.th gear is straight shaft connection and 5 gear connects from the cluster shaft up to the out put shaft . On either side is a rear main bearing and from your description if that bearing is failed then the 4th gear syncro will not align properly and the gear for 5th will be out of alignment so the syncro to work will not work

Drivers door is locked. (Manual locks) Will not unlock or open with either the key or by pulling up on the lock lever inside the car.

You probably jarred the locking linkage loose, not fun getting the door panel off to repair it. You could try squirting some down between the panel towards the locking mechanism to see it will free up.
