When I open the front passenger door 2006 buick rendezvous- interior light do not come on

The fuse may have blown and fix the problem, but it is not the solution as theremust have been something that blew the fuse. Many people plug things such as inverters into the cig lighter which draw too much amperage. Just be aware of what yoi are plugging into yoir cigarette llighter. If the fuse blows right away after the plug it in...there is a short in the circuit somewhere. Good luck!

How do I check power to back hatch on a 2006 rendezvous

using a test light, remove the wire from the motor and make a jumper wire to fit onto the wires in the plus. Connect the test light clamp end to ground and touch the wires one at a time and press the hatch control button. The motor works like a power window so be careful not to ground your wires. Check for positive which will make the light light up. Next test... do the same but with the test light clamp connected to a positive connection. You should get ground from the wires you had power on a moment ago.

Replace lift gate touch pad

The gate has to be opened. Remove the top bezel, it pops off. Remove the bottom bezel, 2 screws on top and 2 at the pull down handle. Then it pops off. Then you can access the outer handle. remove the nuts, pull it off. Unplug the touch pad, remove the bolts/screws(2) and replace in reverse order. The plastic plugs that hold the bezels, break. Be prepared to get some of them also

Engine sputters between 40 to 60 mph

Do you have a check engine light? You do not have an external gas filter, so it may be associated to your internal fuel pump.

2006 Buick Rendezvous back end sways after hitting a bump

The only thing I can think is you have a tire with a bad or broken steel belt. Assuming your tire preasuis up to spec. Take your foot and push on the side of your tie and watch fo a rocking motion. Now do this to all the tires and see if their is one that I noticeably different than the rest. Try rotating tires front to back and see if that changes the symptom. Don,t assume that because the tire does not have lot of mile that it good. A well placed curb smack can wreck the integrity of the side wall, and if suspension is good that's really the only thing that could cause this problem, good luck [email protected]

2006 buick rendevou starts then dies

If the car will not idle (starts and dies) but will run if you keep your foot on the gas, you have a vacumn leak. It could be a broken plastic fitting on the intake or a crack in the intake. If you can get the car running, spray carburetor cleaner around the components on the engine and if the engine speeds up you have found the problem part.
