Heater blower will not work
You will have to troubleshoot to find out if the blower motor is burned out, you may have a bad control module, or check for a blown fuse. If you had a squealing noise coming from inside the dash while it was working, you can count on the motor being bad.

Having problems with brakes
And what is the question?
Brakes come apart at least once a year, for rust removal,
inspection, lube & whatever machining or parts replacement
is required
Not every year, you have to replace anything, but they have to
come apart to do what I described or they fail to work correctly
Have you checked for OBD 2 System Codes?
Service engine soon light
The easiest thing to do to have that checked is go to autozone, checker or someplace like that. They test for free and can tell you what the light means. Then we can figure out what is wrong.

Headlights on 2001 Buick century won't go off & led on clock stays on
well there are a few things this could be. first on most dash boards up toward the window is a little square. this is usually the sun sensor. if covered or dusty the sun won`t hit is and your lights remain on. if it is damaged it will need to be replaced. there are also ways of using your lights manually. They does this with a combo or things at the same time. like putting your key in the one position and turning your lights on manually while holding a door lock or some other combo. Try pulling your battery for about 20 minutes and put it back on PS MAKE SURE YOUR RADIO DOESN`T HAVE A SECURITY SYSTEM AND IF SO MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE NUMBER OTHERWISE YOUR RADIO LOCKS.
Uses excessive amount of gas
run fault codes to find faulty sensors. Then there are dozens of reasons for a thirsty engine so I will list a few
1 tyre size and inflation
2 driver habits
3 blocked exhaust (cat converter faulty)
4ignition timing
5 fuel injectors
6 load in the vehicle
7 load on top of the vehicle
9 speed
10 area= Hilly --city -- stop start
11 if carby check for faulty power valve.
12dragging brakes / pads
13 fuel pressure
14 not engaging OD in automatic box
15 drive line wear
16 wheel alignment
these are just a few and a combination of any will knock considerable mileage off the economy.
Buick 2001 century shut off while driving, won't try to restart
You'll need to find out if you have power to the starter cables with the key in the start position. There's not much other than the key switch or the fuse box that would kill the engine and also not allow the engine to crank. You are dealing with two different systems.
Car over heating but no heater
you may have to change the thermostat could be stuck . if that is not the problem then you need to bleed the air out of the cooling system near the neck were the thermostat there should be a bleed screw you need to have the car running when you do this , you start to loosen the screw little at a time without taking it out completely at some point when the car reaches temp. the coolant will start to come out of this screw when it starts to flow consistently then you close the screw and that should do it . make sure you start this process when the cars is cool never do it when its overheating .good luck
