remove the principal hose that goes directly to the gas thank there is got to be somthing stuck there. That slows the gas and causes it to stop the pump.

Most any GM 3.1 should interchange, You might try going to www.car-part.com and search for your application. They have a built in Hollander interchange that will offer any interchangeable part for your application.

The sending unit for the gauge would have been attached to the fuel pump in the tank.

Price would depend on where you live and where the part is purchased. The tank would need to be removed to replace the sending unit and the pump is usually included. Cost of parts could be over $400 plus labor.

the fix is so simple that all it rquires is a screwdriver. flathead.


its quite difficult to explain but i will give it a shot.


the parking cam on the wiper motor transmission is missing the activation lever. you need to remove the wiper arms, the plastic cowl cover, and the plastic wiper transmission cover. than use that flat head screwdriver to bend the activation lever back into place so the parking cam can catch on it.

and do yourself a favor. clear the ice and snow from the cowl of your car next winter and you wont have this problem again.

The trunk latch is what holds the switch to turn off the light. Replace the latch.
