I have a 2005 dodge Durango. A.c. in rear blows cold front. Vents blow hot what is causing this

Could be something simple. I think on those the actuators or little doors that open and close letting heat through may not be working. These are sometimes controlled by vacuum. Check the little vacuum lines going from the engine into the firewall and check for cracks or leaks.

Had the engine replaced did not vibrate, now between 40 and 50 mph has vibration when you let off the gas it stops, any suggestions?

See if the driveshaft or flywheel might be loose. I would try to narrow down were the vibration is coming from.

2005 Durango got caught in flood waters. Now all it does is go click click click when we try to start. What is problem. Seems like battery is charged. All lights and panel works.

- Battery is defective. Temporarily arrange another battery and check if it starts. - Dry up all the wiring connectors with a compressed air or dust blower. - Check starter motor and its connections.

2005 dodge durango. This just started last week. Whats happening is my battery is always dead, click click click (starter). it always has juice to run radio and stuff like that when i turn key. Takes

A few simple tests and what the results mean. Obtain a voltmeter that will allow you to read up to about 16-17 volts DC. 1. Start vehicle, attach voltmeter to battery (red to +) (black to -) and read voltage. *Note: you are reading the output of the alternator with it running. If Voltage is about 14-15v, alternator is good. If less than 14v, or very high 16+v, likely alternator(or voltage regulator) is not working properly. Have alternator checked at local auto parts place, replacement may be necessary. If voltage is in 14-15v range alternator is working properly. Battery replacement is next logical problem, it can can be tested at the local auto parts store as well. **If a charging system is good, and battery is good, check battery cables. Bypass battery cables by connecting battery directly to starter with jumper cables. If car starts with battery cables connected and not when disconnected, replace battery cables. 2. A charged battery will read at about 13.5 v while engine is turned off, but it does indicate if a battery will hold a charge. Best of luck resolving this problem.

My 2005 Dodge Durango is overheating

Sounds to me like your radiator is clogged. You can either take it out and go to a shop and have them try to clean it out or just buy another one

I need the parts breakdown of the accelorator pedal assembly for a 2005 dodge Durango because I had some pieces fall out

You will need to get the CD with all the parts on a Durango on it to solve this. They are sold on-line. Another option, is to go to a junkyard and buy one pedal assembly complete. (probably cheaper than the CD Rom.) I doubt the Haynes or Chilton's manuals have the part breakdown small enough for your needs.

Hello, I have a 2005 Durango, 5.7 with 117,000 miles. I just replaced the transmission. After that, one of the coil packs burned up. I replaced it, and the new one immediately melted again! HELP ME!

1. Don't buy cheep parts. 2. Check all wiring harnesses, including and especially the grounds for high resistance, or wire breakage. (especially since the tranny was just done) even a missing ground strap in modern vehicles can cause nightmares.

2005 dodge durango it changes into 4lo by itself

This problem and similar ones are being reported on a daily basis. Dodge reports that the problem lies with the transfer case motor. I suggest that you have the dealer take a look since this is probably a fix that will be done on Chrysler's nickel.

I have a 2005 Dodge Durango and the oil light comes on but only when I come to a stop but goes off ones I start moving again.

Check your oil level and change your oil pressure sensor. If good, your pressure is dropping at low rpm. Can be a bad gasket or oil pump. Check the oil for antifreeze and antifreeze for oil. If either looks like chocolate milk bad head gasket. If not your pump is bad

05 dodge durango 5.7 hemi. When I step on gas to accelerate I hear a loud sweaking sound. It just started tonight what could it be.

Hi Mary: Squeaks from the engine area will be coming from moving non-lubricated parts. Try checking: - Serpentine belt. These will squeak like crazy if they have anti-freeze on them. - Water pump. They have a bushing with a seal. Even if the seal is still not leaking, the bushing can be worn and will make some noise. - Alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning pump can all have similar broblems with bearings. MECHANICS TRICK! Use a stethescope to listen near the part you're checking. This is a mechanics stethescope, not the doctors kind. I just use a 2 ft long piece of 1/2" wood dowell. Hold it at one end with my thumb over the end, put my thumb against my ear, and touch the part that I'm checking. Obviously, the motor has to be running while you do this, so STAY SAFE! Do not let the dowell touch any moving parts. No kidding. Your motor can talk to you.
