Jetta 2005, gas pedal not responding,,sometimes it
This is a "Drive by wire" car on the throttle. There is no accelerator cable, it has an electrical sensor that tells the engine computer when you accelerate.
Sounds like the sensor is going bad. Take it to a shop and get it replaced.
My engine management light comes on then
Im guessing it is a jetta? I never heard of a polo. BUT the guy at the garage obviously didnt help you out very much except scanned for codes. ANYWAY.... P0116 means Engine Coolant Circuit Range/Performance. I recommend checking engine coolant temp[ECT] sensor G62. It probably needs to be replaced. And a coolant flush would probably be good to
My 2007 jetta newer style,
When you press the eject button try using a very small flat head screwdriver. Stick it into the CD opening at the bottom and lift it up while the player is trying to eject it. Another thing you can do is grab the edge of it with a pair of very small neede nose pliers while presing the eject button. If you know how to remove the radio from the car, you could take the stereo out and open the top of the unit up and then push the CD right out of the player
MY CAR WONT SHIFT OUT
It could be several things.. It could be the modulator.. That is what tells it when to shift and is controlled by both electronic and vacuum..
It could be a bad vacuum line..
If you are not really technical and have experience - it makes allot of sense to bring it to a trani shop.. Allot of them will offer free estimates..
Good luck
Failure to start after an engine overall
could be a number of things. valve clearnce wrong, timing belt broke or has jumped time.engine too tight(internally). I'd take it back to your mechanic and let him fix it.

Want to replace batt. on
Hi There,
Replacing the battery of a Jetta is different than most cars.
- Under the hood look for a plastic cover with a light bulb picture on it, located between the battery case and the front grill. It has 4 screws that needs to be unscrewed. You would notice 2 pieces, in some cases you may have to remove both.
- To separate the 2 pieces, twist it slightly and move one piece up and the other down.
- Unscrew the large bolt on the middle front of the battery casing.
- Have the metal piece that holds the battery removed.
- Remove the battery but keep in mind that at its back it is being held by a plastic lip piece. The new one needs to slide under it.
To put the new one in, do above in reverse.
I NEED THE 4 DIGIT
Take the radio to an Authorized VW dealer with a receipt, or go back and look around the right rear wheel well.

Replacing front wheel bearing on
I've done this job several times using a bench vise and an old bearing to press out the bad one. Not an easy job, easy to ruin the new bearing by not pressing the new one in straight. Most shops will be able to press the old and new for few dollars. Oh yeah, there is an internal Circlip that has to be removed first, a job in itself....
The a/c hasn't been working
well i believe the a/c pulls quite a bit of (load) power so that may be the pulling. Your rheostat may be bad internally or your compressor may be shot like a hole in it does you reservoir have any coolant in it any more? Is there green/blue fluid on the ground/sprayed all over the hood. Is that cap in the very front of the engine (coming from coolant reservoir) on tight or loose dont open it after running it its very hot.
