This indicates that one or more glow plugs are failing, the problem is you will need to replace them all as you will find when one starts to play up the others will usually follow not far behind.

2000 vw jetta with brake
When the vehicle is not moving set the emergency
brake and release the brake all the way to its off position. It sounds like your
emergency brake is on or the emergency brake switch is not disengaging.
2004 vw polo 1.9 sdi twist.
hi,
sounds like the service reminder was not reset during the service.
switch off the ignition. press and hold the button on the dash. switch on the ignition. release the button. now twist the button clockwise . the spanner disappears. switch off ignition.
Why would my car shake
First of all, is it more of an engine problem at idle, or a sidewise shake at highway speed as in a tire symmetry or balance problem?
I've had both problems in cars that i have had in the past.
If the engine is idling roughly then the engine should be scanned for errors or trouble codes.
If the car vibrates at 30mph or faster, then it's likely a simple tire problem with the balancing or the shape of the round tires (out of round?).
I hope this helps.
2002 Jetta 1.8L Turbo with
reverse and 1st has there separate drum that houses these clutch plates.
2nd & 3rd has there own
4th & 5th is separate as well so the problem lays in that drums spray plate that holds pressure srings. They are getting very weak and need to be replaced
A full transmission overhaul is recommended since the entire trans will have to be torn down
Had to disable alarm on
I seriously doubt the alarm had anything to do with the cooling fans and the engine overheating, 1st some questions, when does it overheat?does it overheat at highway speeds? or does it just overheat at slow speed and idle? or is it both? have you had the cooling system tested for leaks? is it low on coolant? Has it been tested by a shop for a leaking engine cylinder head gasket?

I just bought a 08
This is displaying on the radio correct?
This means the battery had been disconnected or dead before you purchased.
Look for an unlock code in the glovebox, or in the owners manual.
Check in the trunk by the spare as well. Sometimes the code is on a sticker there too.
If the code is not there - the dealer will have to produce it.
Thanks!!
ABS and hand brake sign on the screen and there's
DO NOT DRIVE!
now check the master cylinder.
also have the rear drum brakes looked at .
the rear pads are or could be worn to where the metal from the pad is scratching a unwanted groove in the inside of the drum that the pads need to stop the car.
and also check the front pads.have it done by a certified tech.its worth your life to pay for good professional work.
I have a 2005 vw
There are two sensors that directly related to the timing.
The cam sensor and the crank sensor. I don't know if they
were tested or overlooked. Or in some of the codes you
pulled. But I would check these before I tear down the engine.
Hope this helps. Good luck
Where is the blower motor for heating fan located
It is in the right foot well,(passenger side), under and behind the glove box. It is fairly accessible. It has 4 -7mm socket size screws that hold the fan, 2 on bottom and 1 on either side. Caution upon removing last screw it will fall straight down, then unplug the wire connector from the fan.
Noise in the door of 1999 New Jetta.
well, Im not there to hear it but, when the car first hits 8mph or thereabouts, the doors lock automatically. if the loud noise happens about the same time all the other doors lock, I'd say the lock mecanism is bad. This is not all that uncommon
2004 jetta tdi, has engine miss & lack of
Running rough?? If i took a guess I'd say there's a faulty injector. Does it smoke like hell ?? Does it also miss at idle?- If so get a line wrench and a rag handy. Start the car and while idling wrap the rag around the base of the fuel line connector on injector 1 and crack it just a bit until fuel comes out. It might spray, thus the rag. If the miss gets worse, that ain't the injector to blame. Continue with the other 3. If you crack a line and there is no or very little change in the miss then you found the guilty party.
On a long shot it could also be a stuck valve.
Did that get it?? It sounds like an issue other than MAF but.... get a multimeter and try probing the connecter to the MAF. When you find out what it is , please let me know. I'm curious

My 2007 jetta newer style,
When you press the eject button try using a very small flat head screwdriver. Stick it into the CD opening at the bottom and lift it up while the player is trying to eject it. Another thing you can do is grab the edge of it with a pair of very small neede nose pliers while presing the eject button. If you know how to remove the radio from the car, you could take the stereo out and open the top of the unit up and then push the CD right out of the player
