probably the best way to solve the problem is to fit new engine and gear box as a unit and give the old box a miss. If you cannot do that check around for a speed shop that sells adaptor plates or if you have a good engineering shop handy have an adaptor plate made

If radiator itself is leaking,they have to be replaced,go to Autozone and get a lifetime one,I use them.Make sure that is what is leaking,check the area of the water pump too.

Maybe its to much for the circuit to handle so the automatic circuit protection(ACP) kicks in and shuts it off.

Here's the game plan,get it cranked and have someone follow you to Autozone,keep it cranked and go into store and tell them you need your battery and alternator tested,has to be cranked to do this and let them know if you turn off it won't start so you won't burn up your gas waiting too long and this service is free.
