Ford Escort 1998 not starting. Replaced
Not a sensor or fuse. Possibly the battery: only way to know is have it checked. Best way is check when car wont start. Should have over 12 volts. I would suspect alternator is not charging battery. Put a voltmeter on battery when car is running. Voltmeter should read 13.5-14 volts. If not, something's not right. Check your battery grounds for tightness and cleaness. Sometimes a loose connection will keep battery from either charging or starting. If you still have the problem, check your starter for a short, drawing too much amperage.
I cant find the fuel cut off switch to reset it
TRY THE TRUNK, & THE KICK PANELS ON BOTH SIDES UNDER THE DASH WHERE THE PLASTIC COVERS ARE IF IT IS BEHIND THE KICK PANEL IT WILL HAVE A HOLE IN IT & YOU CAN SEE THE RED ON THE PART YOU NEED TO PUSH DOWN &SAME IF ITS IN THE TRUNK A SMALL HOLE IN THE CARPET ON ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER ,& YOU WILL SEE THE RED BUTTON INSIDE THE BLACK SLEEVE
Where is the blower motor relay located
Under the passenger side of the dash is the blower resister .This is most likely the cause they tend to burn up and your blower stops working.:)Also look for the connector going to the blower motor in the same location it is probably burnt on the end also.
