Disabling PassTime device on 03 Ford F150

Find the passtime device , it's usually under the dash near the ignition switch. You can trace it by following the wire from the remote eye. There are 5 wires with a plug connector plugged into the device. Leave the red, pink and black wires alone. The blue wire comes from your ignition switch and goes to a relay switch inside the device. The purple wire comes from that switch to your starter.
Leave them cut from the device, but solder, (or connect in some manner) them together so that the passtime device is bypassed. Then your starter will get power when you turn the key. That's all there is to it.
the passtime device will still appear to be functioning. It will beep and take codes from the remote, but regardless of whether it is timed out or not your starter will still get power.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE**

It should be noted that the passtime system is property of the dealership and removal of this device may violate your contract with the dealership and in some states is a punishable offense.

How do I remove wires from the alternater

There is a clip on the pug, make sure it's loose by gently prying on it with a screwdriver. Then pull the plug out of the alternator- you may have to grab it with a large pair of pliers or a pair of channel locks and wiggle it gently as you pull out- that's all you can do- it'll come out! They're just a pain in the a$$ sometimes! f96ffcb1-e186-4220-aebd-e3c05fe177d0-3nk5q2nvk0p34rogxdm4jhzi-4-0.jpeg

93 Ford Festiva wheel bearing job - any surprises?

No, the front wheel bearings are relatively easy to replace on the Festiva. They just knock out and press back in. I recently replaced the front bearings and all (4) struts on mine and it went well.

How do i adjust the idle speed on a 1993 Festiva

you should not realy need to adjust the settings if you do then the carb needs cleaning out. air screw usually has a blue cap over it but they made several different carbs and the setting screws are in different places. idle problems usually relate to the vacuum line leaking, and adjusting air screw will not make a difference, fast idle can also be timing is out, either advanced or retarded. even a leak in the manifold gasket or carb gasket can cause wrong fuel mix.
