The synchronizers are the reason it won't come out of gear. They are damaged and the slide ring won't go over them. You will have to remove the transmission and replace the 4th gear synchronizer. I wish I had a better answer. Hope this was helpful. Good luck.

Did you try disconnecting the battery for about 10 or 20 seconds? It may only need to be reset. You may also need to replace the batteries in your remote, or possibly try a second remote if you have one. The problem is definitely alarm related.

Most FORD temperature sending units are placed on the intake manifold side of the engine, near where water from the radiator enters the engine. One way to know what you are looking for is to purchase the new part from a store, and identify the part on your motor.

Have you checked to see if you have fuel pressure. Sometimes the fuel pump will run but if it is worn out and is not pumping any pressure. Listen for the fuel pump to see if it runs when you turn the key on.Then check the fuel pressure at the engine to see if fuel is getting to the engine with pressure and volume. I hope this helps.

It must be a safety test, because the airbag has nothing to due with emissions. The proper way to make the light go out is have the air bag or SRS system repaired by a qualified service center.

there is one on each side of the engine block towards the bottom of the block but about 6" up from where the oil pan mounts to the engine and are about 3/8" head diameter.

souns like a faulty fuel pump.?? go to advanced auto if u kan git r dun. bet they tell u itsa bad fuel pump!.lol.

Take a shop towel or any rag and put behind the handle pull in circular direction until the clip comes off then just put the clip on the handle and put back on door

Ford fuel pymps are notorious for the check valve in the fuel pump assembly to fail. The check valve keeps the fuel lines and fuel rail full of pressurized fuel. Borrow a fuel,pressure gauge. The pressure should stay up when you shut the,engine down. If it drops to 0 right away, replace the pump module

DOES IT START WHEN YOU PUT IT IN NEUTRAL, ALSO THE NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH IS LOCATED UNDER THE DRIVERSIDE CLUTCH PEDAL UP IN THE COLUM, IT SHOULD HAVE ONLY TWO WIRES FOR A REPLACEMENT.

check the numbers on the fuel pump relay against the numbers of your other relays.. find one that matches and swap the places.. if your fuel pump now works you have a bad relay..
