Only firing on 2 cylinders, what can i do

Have you actually tested the other cylinder plugs to make sure they are definitely not firing? Not sure I know what you mean by the "firing box", you mean the ignition pack, coil pack, distributor or? If its a sealed pack it should be fairly well sealed to keep water out. However if you think the problem is that water go in there, spray it liberally with WD40. It will displace the water and it should start working properly, if that was the cause. Alternately you could try heating it up with a hairdryer set to max and see if that does the trick. Before doing all this confirm that the other plugs are indeed not firing.

Ford ranger electrical

Check the starting circuit fuses. Most likely its a bad starter. If you can easily get at it. Drop it out attach a ground line between the body of the starter and any clean metal under the car. Have someone look at the starter while you try starting. If it does noithing when you turn the key to start, its time for a new one.

How do I locate the ocb fuse for a 2003 ford ranger

There are 2 fuse boxes, both clearly identify fuses. The easy one is under the hood driverside firewall. The not so easy one is located under the steering wheel to the right on the side wall. It is higher than you would expect and black like everything else under the there so do not give up (I almost did) it's there. Hope this helps.

# cylinder 3 misfire

you don`t say how you verified that the plug and wire was good. I think these use coil on plug, if so check powers and grounds for that coil as one may have a problem.other things that could cause this is a bad fuel injector, poor compression due to either rings, valve, worn cam, damaged push rod,

First check the linkage Then loosen or disconnect to linkage, so you can shift the trans by hand If it has a cable involved, remove the trans end My guess is-- you need to pull the trans & take it apart to find the worn parts & problem Also the clutch may be an issue

Can a battery cable not tight keep battery from charging good while running of truck

Yes. A loose battery clamp or side screw will prevent your battery from charging, also will affect exterior lights, and possibly cause other issues. Your terminals should be clean and greased with dielectric grease your battery should be clamped or strapped down.
