If you have a test light or voltmeter I'll try and walk you thru this.
How your system works is the switch has power to it from fuse 19 in the under dash fuse panel(15amp) on the WH/VT wire,this is the same on both switches.
when you go to the lock postion the drivers switch will get power on the VT wire and in the unlock postion it will get power on the LG wire. On the passenger switch in the lock postion it will get power on the PK/YEand in unlock on the PK/LG.
Now this will fed to the GEM module which piggy backs onto the fuse panel.Then the GEM will provide power and ground to the door lock actuators in the door.
Now if you have power leaving the switch like stated I would then remove one of the door panels to access one of the actuators. Then measure voltage and ground at the actuators while you activate the door lock switch.It should have power on one side and ground on the other in one postion then when you go to the other postion on the switch this should switch, previous wire that was hot should now be ground and previous ground should now be hot.
Make sure you test it for ground as well as power you can do this by hooking your test light to a power source instead of ground and when u get a ground of course it will light.
Now the test I just provided will eliminate the door lock switches and the door lock actuators. If you do not have the power and grounds as listed then the problem will be either wiring or GEM module.

Get it fixed or replaced NOW!! A loose seat is VERY dangerous!!! For the amount of hassle this might cause replacement is your better option, but expensive. To fix this you will possibly have to strip the upholstery and padding from the entire seat. You might be able to get a used set from a vehicle breakers yard or one of the Mustang owners clubs.

polish the contact points where the pad sits in caliper bracket. if it has a groove, polishing the hard edges off will help

replace any soft hoses. collapsed hoses cause water flow constriction .that increases temp fast to bleed air out of the system . if no air bleeder as such with heater on full .-engine running loosen the bypass pipe for the closed thermostat till only coolant flows no air bubbles check if the engine cooling fan spinning fast enough the water pump in good condition the interior directional flaps motors or actuators working

Why not put the mirror back on, you can buy the adhesive mirror pad kit from any auto parts store for a few dollars, just follow CAREFULLY!! the instructions in the kit, and you have a mirror again. The whole job takes less than 15 minutes. as to removing the mirror there should be a small connector at the rear of the mirror to disconnect it from the wiring harness.

You should be fine.

First check the light switch and brake switch. Under driver side is the rear light harness. Go to advance auto get a HAYES REPAIR MANUAL for mustang for that year I think they are all the same.

Binding throttle cable , dirty throttle body . binding throttle butterfly shaft.

Running rich. this class failure has over 50 causes. you can Gue$$ or TEST? the tests are 1 to 10 tests. ( depends on whats bad) what do you want? ill add one guess. never tuned up? that gets about 90% of cars on road.

It can be done in a day, if you have the tools to do it. Pull it from the top.

check the "u" joints and check that the drive shaft flanges have been properly fitted to the pinion flange or that the "u"joints have been properly fitted into the pinion "ears " of the pinion.. Check that the correct grade of oil was used in the diff and it has the correct amount. New out of the factory diff should not be noisy but if you have a new rebuilt diff then it is possible that the gear mesh is not correct or used gears were used where the best mesh was obtained.

camshafts affect valve timing only and have nothing to do with air intakes . Air intakes only affect the air flow into an engine past the valves . Problems you are likely to encounter are air flow sensors as they will be different from each engine.

You don't need a manual to check the fuses 1 at a time. Just doing a visual (or use multimeter) will sometimes let you find a bad fuse. You do know that the top is raised and lowered using small motor located under the hood. Use dianostic code reader to find out who, what, where the problem is. Most readers are free to use at Autozone, Advanced Auto Parts, and NAPA.
