Brake shoes on 1987 f250 460 1987 2 wheel drive
Lift the front of your Ford F-250 off of the ground using a jack and jack stands. Remove the wheels from the Ford with a lug nut wrench to prepare the truck for servicing. 2 Open the hood on the engine compartment and take the lid off of the master cylinder that bolts to the brake assister on the driver's side firewall.3 Remove the hex-head bolts on the back of the brake caliper with a socket. With the bolts removed, pull the caliper off of the Ford's brake rotor.4 Pull the old brake pads out of the caliper and discard them. Squeeze the brake piston back into the backside brake caliper with pliers, and then insert the new pads into the brake caliper.5 Pull the rotor cap cover off the middle of the rotor with a screwdriver and use a socket to remove the nut located behind the cover.6 Pull the rotor off of the wheel spindle.7 Remove the old wheel bearings from the brake rotor and insert them into the new rotor. If the old wheel bearings are worn, replace them with new bearings.8 Slide the new rotor onto the wheel spindle and secure it using a bolt and socket. After you tighten the bolt, press the cover back onto the rotor.9 Place the caliper on the rotor and secure it with a socket and hex-head bolts. 10 Duplicate the process on the passenger side of the F-250. 11 Close the master cylinder after putting the wheels back on the Ford and lowering it to the ground. Press on the brake pedal to seat the pads against the rotorReplace the F-250's Rear Brakes 1 lift the rear of the Ford F-250 off the ground with a jack and jack stands. Remove the wheels from the Ford with a lug nut wrench.2 Place a strip of paint on the back of the brake drum and rear brake drum cover so you can position the brake drum orrectly when you put it back on. If you plan to install new brake drums on your Ford F-250, skip this step. 3 Place the brake drum puller on the brake drum and pull the drum from the wheel hub. The method for attaching the brake drum puller depends on the brake drum puller that you use. 4 Remove the springs that attach the brake shoes to the wheel hub by pulling them off with pliers.5 Lift the old brake shoes off of the wheel hub and place the new brake shoes on the wheel hub. Secure the new shoes with the springs.6 Pound the brake drum onto the axle hub with a rubber mallet.7 Duplicate the process on the passenger side of the Ford.8 Put the wheels back on the F-250, lower it to the ground and, then press on the brake pedal to seat the shoes against the brake drum.

Heater will not blow out hot air in my 1988 ford
Hello! There isn't a sensor that would disallow heated water to circulate through the heater core...If the temperature gauge rises to normal...And the upper radiator hose is hot along with the lower hose ...I can conclude water is circulating through the block...Question then becomes; Is it circulating through the heater core? And the answer to that is, I don't think so...With the heater control turned on high feel the outlet heater core hose (facing engine it's the one on the left) if it feels cold or not as hot as the inlet then one of two items are at fault...#1...The Plenum assembly, which the heater core sets in has an open vacuum line...#2...The heat control valve cable or the valve itself is not opening...See picture of valve below...It is on the firewall...Let me know if heat is passing through the heater core...If hot water isn't passing through the core and the valve is opening than the core itself is blocked...send a comment...Guru...Saailer

If i let my 7.3 ford diesil set 4 or 5 hour it
A diesel uses glow plugs to fire the fuel when it is first started. If one glow plug quits working the glow plug controler shortens the time that the rest are on. If two its even shorter. If the wait to start light goes off sooner than it used to check the glow plugs.
Glow plugs can be checked easy with a test light.
Unplug a glow plug. (located on the head by the injector).
Just hook up a test light to battery positive (+) and touch the other end to the glow plug connector. If the light lights that one is o.k. Check all 8. Replace any that dont work.
If the glow plug system is working then check for fuel leaks. If fuel can leak out than air can get sucked in the fuel system and cause a hard start.
There is also a transfer pump on the frame rail under the drivers seat. This can be a issue if it fails.
When the key is first turned on this pump will come on and prime the system. You can hear it if you get close to it.

Sounds more like a burnt fusable link, check wires for burnt spots. may also have burnt up starter. also the computer could have been fryed.
My 1988 f 250 460,
the most common reason on these is the two relays that lay on the inside of the engine compartment on top of the fender well on the driverside, there will be two, one is a fuelpump relay and the other for the computer /fuel system also called an auto shut down relay, replace them and clean the terminals on the connectors this sounds like this is the problem as it will start when sprayed until fuel bruned out, replace these two relays and i bet it will solve the problem, those relays go bad and the connectors ternminals get corroded and dont make a good connection. good day

in the other hand,
smoke white is a motor cold on winter,
smoke blue is oil inside motor,
smoke black is gas not burned,
so be shure exactly what color is...
Gas is flowing fine.. but
FIRST MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE PUMP IN IN THE CORRECT DIRECTION, IT SHOULD HAVE A FLOW ARROW ON IT, NEXT MAKE SURE THE POLARITY ON YOUR WIER'S AREN'T CROSSED, THE IF THERE IS GAS MAKING IT TO THE PUMP ATTACH A HOSE TO THE OUTPUT SIDE AND PUT IT INTO A GAS CAN TURN YOUR KEY ON AN SEE IF YOU ARE GETTING ANY FLOW. YOU CAN ALSO CHECK IT ON THE FUEL RAIL THER'S A CONNECTOR FOR A FUEL PRESSURE GUAGE LLOOKS LIKE A TIRE VALVE STEM, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A TESTER THEY HAVE TOOL LOAN PROGRAM @ MOST AUTO PARTS STORES, IT SHOULD HAVE AROUND 60psi AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST DID YOU CHECK YOUR FILTER? GOOD LUCK!

When you put it on vent it is drawing air from the outside. And the outside comes from under the hood where the cabin filter is, so you are pulling air from around a hot engine. Makes no sense. Better to role down the window.
