Transmission light blinks when driving

Need to have the transmisson fluid checked and most likely changed. Take it to a reputable shop and it costs about $150.00 to have it done, you can do it yourself for less but it's a mess unless you have everything you need.

When i put my van into drive or reverse, the van

OK so the engines fires up? This means that the transmission is neutral or park. Try starting the car with the shift in gear. If the car starts but does not move this tells you that the selector switch on the side of the transmission casing is not being moved out of 'park' and therefore the links need to be checked for continuity. If the engine fails to start then the selector has been moved out of 'park' and that although the links from the gear selector in the car to the are OK there is something wrong with the transmission.

Identify the belt tensioner pulley on 1998 Ford Windstar 3.8 L

there is a tensioner that normally holds the belt in place there should be a diagram under the hood showing how the belt goes back on normally it is a 3/8 socket or 1/2 inch socket you use on the tensioner to release the pressure once you put the belt back on and everything is in place and the belt tensioner is working all you have to do is start up the car and the belt tensioner adjusts itself

Mass Air Flow Sensor 2004 Windstar

Located between the air box and throttle body on the drivers side. You really cant clean them except blow it out with air. Its better to replace it. If you break one of the small wires that measures air it will not work right and the car won't start at all. If check engine light is on take it to and auto parts store that will scan the computer for free.

Will seats from a 2003 windstar fit a 2004

I would think so. Might be a good idea to measure the distance between the bolts first, but i can't see why they would be different, unless there was a big change from 03 to 04.

2004 ford windstar replaced gear shift sensor but

sounds like your issue is either involving the torque convertor, or more than likely the transmission is at fault. your gear shift lever is actually mechanically linked to the trans, the gear position sensor would not cause the van not to move, sorry for the bad news!

HAVING TROUBLE FINDING REASONABLE REPLACEMENT

you could try a 70 series instead of 60, usually a cheaper choice, though replace all 4 at the same time or the size difference may cause an ABS concern
Maybe like a P215 or P225 / 70r16
check competition & price shop, alot of this can be done online without leaving the house.
I personally avoid the Tire Sweat shops, I have found many low end , new tires that served me very well
I have also found a regular relationshop with a good tire shop can lead to good deals on tires outside the going special as well as superior service. But I do drive a-lot too
