Po193 is registering an unpassable emission
This fault code is indicating a fault in your fuel rail pressure sensor. It
is a very common fault with this model, usually just replacing the fuel
pressure sensor that is located on your fuel rail will fix the fault. Here is a discription of it and location:
The Injection Pressure Sensor
(IPS) :
- is attached to the fuel injection supply manifold.
- uses a replaceable O-ring seal.
- senses the fuel pressure of the fuel injection supply manifold.
- is referenced to the intake manifold vacuum.
- sends electronic signals
REMOVAL
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
- Relieve the fuel system pressure.
- Disconnect the fuel line from the IPR.
Disconnect the IPR electrical connector and the vacuum tube.
- Remove the IPR.
INSTALLATION
- To install, reverse the removal procedure. NOTE
-
- Before
installing the IPR, inspect and lubricate the O-ring seal with clean
Super Premium SAE 5W-30 motor oil XO-5W30-QSP or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSS-M3C153-G.
- Hand-tighten the bolts before applying the final torque.
Hope helps.

2003 ford freestar what does trouble code po442
Hello syatzus.
This is the most common code we see in my repair shop.
The description of this code is "small leak detected-evaporative system".
The reason for it all is emissions. In vehicles produced in the last several years there is a system in them that is capable of storing gasoline vapors (hydrocarbons). When filling your fuel tank vapors are now directed to a vapor storage device called a carbon canister. When driving your car under certain driving conditions these vapors are drawn into the engine to be burned.
So in order to get the vapors into the canister the fuel system must be sealed. So the systems in vehicles will sometimes run a test to verify that the system stays sealed, if it doesn't, your check engine light comes on.
A loose fuel cap can do this, but so can a rusted line, a bad solenoid, cracked carbon canister and so on.
One of the best ways to locate a leak that isn't obvious is to use a smoke generating devise and introduce it into the evap system.
Many good shops will have a smoke machine today. If they don't I am sure they pull their hair out trying to fix this code.
I hope yours is a simple fix.

My gascap light stays no why?
If your had recently gotten gas, then the cap may be loose. removing it and tightening again may fix it. Another cause could be your gas cap is bad and you need to replace it with another one. Don't get the cheap ones, buy one from the dealer $20.

2003 FORD FREESTAR
Your instrument cluster may not be grounded. If your fuses are good, than you will need to check the grounding of the wires and make sure the wires are intact. A hairline crack in the ground will kill the cluster behind the cluster. You may have to use a magnify glass to see the crack. I would check the relays on the wires as well, not just in the fuse box, You will have to exhaust all your diagnostics to find the problems, You will need to check all your wiring and ground connections because I don't think its just one wire throwin all this off. The electrical system is fried almost like a reverse polarity on the battery which caused multiple things to short out

2004 freestar code p0402?
P0402 is an OBD-II generic code that the engine control module (ECM) has detected indicating the engine exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve is flowing too much recirculated exhaust gases when it is commanded to open the flow of gases into the intake manifold.
