Which way do I work the brake spoon to loosen the

Which ever way is hard to turn that's the way, get a flash light and look in there, there will be a tap that needs to be push away from adjuster, with a small screw driver, while holding tap now turn adjuster to loosen brakes

1982 ford 250 not starting

You can check for power at the starter solenoid mounted on the fender, it has power from battery pos. terminal and it will have a wire from the ignition switch the goes to 12volts when in the crank posistion, you can check with a test light and have some one turn key, if you have power to both as discribed than it is most likely the solenoid, if the solenoid clicks when you test it you will need to check for power at the other large wire from the solenoid while the key is in crank position, if power there you will need to check for power at the starter(large wire) while in the crank position, if power there then you will need a starter or you have a bad ground.

Yes they are! Just be sure to measure the door hinges to be exact, but yes I have done that before myself. But the whole front clip should be identical including most of the interior parts.

Front fuel tank not working properly

Your truck has a mechanical switch that may not be working. Check it for power and ground.

One of the problems with 2 tanks is a lot of folks only run off of one and then you can get a sludge build up and could have a plugged pick up line.
Try this remove the fuel cap for the front tank.
Disconnect the front tank fuel line from the switch valve.
If you are not getting a good flow of fuel using low pressure air no more than 25 to 40 PSI blow back into the tank.
Now do you have fuel flow?
Your switch valve may be plugged on the front tank side - If you are getting fuel to the switch valve and not through it I would replace the valve.
You may also have a bad dash switch
