Find temp. sending unit on engine. If one wire type ground that wire to good engine ground, with key on gauge should go all the way to hot. If it does replace faulty sender. If it doesn't than you have bad gauge, wire or connection. ( If replacing sender, make sure engine is cold. remove radiator cap to releave pressure and you will loose antifreeze when it comes out install new one quickly and don't use teflon tape as this needs to be able to ground to engine.)

Don't remember for sure but I think that has a transmitttion with a lock-up converter. AOD trans I think. If so the converter is in the locked-up mode. Not letting it free wheel when put in gear. Will need to take it to a transmittion shop or dealership to have it checked out. Might be just a sensor or maybe a converter that's bad. Should get an amber check eng light too. Being that the lock-up is computer controled.

The blower can be located under the passenger side dash or under the hood on the passenger side firewall. Remove the screws and electrical connector to the blower motor and it will come out.

By now the blower motor should have been replaced a few times so hopefully it will be less hard. Disconnect the orange power wire at the rear of the right hood hinge and the black ground from the upper cowl. Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly. There should be an access panel in the fender. Remove it and you should see your blower motor. Remove the 4 motor mounting screws and disconnect the cooler tube from the motor. slide the motor and wheel assemby out the acess hole.
Hope this helps.
