Truck will not start

Your starter is probably bad. I have been an employee of napa for 8 years and have seen this many times. You can have it tested at any Napa store, if your started is good then you have a defective solenoid.

Where is the mojulator vaule on the transmition

It's on the back of the transmission housing, passenger side. Look for a vacuum hose going to the transmission, this should lead you right to it.

When I place my 2002 ford ranger in 4 wheel drive Hi, the passenger side rear tire acts like the brake is on for a moment then not then again as the truck is moving?

Sounds like a tooth missing from the rear differential gear that drives that wheel....good luck...it's expensive to replace because the axle needs to be pulled.

Ford ranger with transimission and idle problems

Your overdrive not working basically means you new a tranny rebuild.Idleing and overdrive have nothing to do with each other, so there may be a problem with your ECU, idleing is controlled by it.
Have the ECU diagnosed first. Then have the tranny repaired.

How do you check a 1989 ford ranger starter relay

Try quickly turning your key to the start position and back to the on/run position. Your truck is like mine, if you have a quick hand turning the key to start your truck it will start normally. Honestly that's the best solution. Hopefully I explained myself thoroughly.

1989 ranger wants to stall going from natural to first

Yes, if it was the cat, it would run poorly throughout. Might want to have your throttle position sensor checked. Try cleaning the intake with CRC intake cleaner .

1989 ford ranger location of ignition control module

Check for a Thick Film Integrated (TFI) Module attached to the outside of the distrfibutor with about an 8 wire plug on it. That is Ford's ignition module. My recollection is the two screws attaching it to the distributor are odd-ball 7/32 in. size. If the module is taken off, use special ford di-electric grease on the base before re-attaching. For heat dissipation.
