I owned a 85 LTD II. Mine was inside the trunk near the passenger side trunk hinge, near the top of the trunk.

check that the turbo is actually working at the lower rpms.check to see if it is a variable vane turbo where the vanes for the turbine wheel can be altered to produce boost at lower rpms. The vanes are controlled by a actuator on the turbo and is controlled by a vacuum hose controlled by the ECM. The misfiring may be actually over fuelling ( mixture too rich as the boost is too low for the mixture)

Bad crank sensor, bad wiring, bad ECU. If only the tach drops and the car runs fine. Then it is the wiring(bad connection) to the cluster or the cluster..

sounds like its bulk rings in gear box, they spin the gears ready as u change gear when they wear the gears are not spun enough to select u probably need to over hall gear box , to help u change gear for now double d clutch, whats this as u want to change gear push clutch down move out gear release.. clutch pushdown again put in to gear use this with each gear un need to change what this does is spin gear ready for u as if bulk ring had done it for u if u are good u can just change gear but have to b good for this

Are you having to add fluid? If yes, look for the leak. If no, It's the clutch master cylinder.

The cylinder is "clocked" to fit with 180 degrees respective to the Ignition housing. If that was done correctly, then the Ignition housing slipped its slotted mount and is bottomed out and out-of-time. You need to reposition the mount on the steering column.

This should be checked first. Then the end of the rod going to the lockout could be out of adjustment because of the Ignition switch. Check that if the Ignition switch mount is not slotted.

Sounds like it's a fuel issue. Have you checked you fuel pressure ? The T-Blrad had a 3.8 and a 5.0 ;iter engine in it that year and I think a turbo 4 cylinder (2.3 I think). In any case your fuel pressure should be anywhere from 35 - 45 PSI with the engine not running key in the on position and could drop as low as 25 - 30 PSI when running in all engines for that year. If that test out fine you may want to pull the injectors to see if they are clogged and have a good spray. Fuel is nasty stuff when it sits. Hope this helps...
