did you do tune up to fix this problem of stalling or has it been doing it after you did tune up? Just asking maybe i can steer you in a different direction

check the spark plugs and wires and your fuel filter

If your van has a 5.8L HO V-8 with a 4-V carb, it could be a brass filter in the carb at the supply tube to the carb, that has become clogged. $3.49 at AutoZone. If that is not the problem, it could be the fuel pump, which is mechanical and driven off the camshaft. It is located on the driver's side of the engine just above the oil filter. When replacing this you need to be sure the cam lobe does not interfere with the pump lever. If your van has a 5.0L V-8 it can be many different things. The first thing I would check is the in-line fuel filter located on the frame rail on the driver's side.

On a 300cc / 4.9L has two fuel pumps both elec. one in gas tank and one on fram rail. On a 351 / 5.8L has one elec. fuel pump on fram rail and one mechanical type on drive side front of engine block.On 460/7.5L could have elec. fuel pump one on fram rail one in gas tank or mechanical type.Hope this was helpful.
