What are the timing specs for 1985 460 7.5 l

quite honestly it can vary. Especially with the grade of gas since you engine was made. Usually anywhere fro, 6-10 degress BTDC. Get a vacuum gauge and hook it up. Adjust the timing for max vacuum readings. Road test the vehicle. If you notice some pinging, then back off about 2 degrees.

My engine has seized after being laid up for

Remove the spark plugs and squirt some oil down in the cylinder heads. let it sit for a week
Remove old fuel from the fuel lines and tank .
Put a good battery in it.
If vehicle fires up after a week of sitting, shut it down and change oil in the engine, diffs and trans, you will probably notice that seals may weep oil for awhile if they continue you will have to replace those seals.

1985 f350

There is a box on the passenger side, under the heater core. It's black and about 2 in by 2 in big. there is a white button on top. push the button down, noting how firm/loose it is. If it is loose, then the switch will need to be replaced. For reference it's called a inertia switch.
