You can check the NHTSA site and just add .com to their name. If you do not see anything , have your dealer run the VIN# for service bulletins.

2006 crown vic; the fuel pump, will not kick.

From your description, sounds like your pump wants an external pressure regulator - and that the pump is designed to be "always on'. Follow the ground lead back to its source - I suspect that you will find a bad connection (rust or broken). You can test it with an ohm meter (between the ground lead and the car chassis. Wth the key ON, the meter should show a very low resistance to ground. Wth the key off, a very high resistance (or open) to ground.

The fan speed control does not slow the blower

My name is Ron,and I will try to assist you. There is a blower motor resister that controls the speed that you set on the speed control, manual,or automatic. It is located near the blower motor. Most of the time under the dash, behind the glove box.It most likely mounted with two, maybe three screws. If it is not in that location, look under the hood passengers side, under the windshield, on the fire wall.It will have a multi-wire plug in going to it.Take the screws out,not loosing them(they are small)and pull the resister out toward you. When reinstalling the resister,be carefull not to bend it up.If I can be of more help, please let me [email protected]

You probably havea shorted or crossed wire IN the steering column. Easy solution: Disconnect the wire and run a hot wire to a momentary push-button on the dash.

1997 Ford CV power seat controls

Remove the door trim and you will have full access to what you need.

To remove the door trim you need to remove all the retaining screws (usually there are two screws one on the rear of the door and one on the bottom of the door).

Next you need to remove the casing that surrounds the inside door handle with a flat head screwdriver, once the casing is removed there are 1 or 2 visible screws that need to be removed as well.

Next pry out the window switch housing and unplug the switch.

Finally pull up and out to dislodge the door.

Fule pump is brand new

Check the fuse panel(s) first and be sure there are no blown fuses. After that, look into the fuel pump relay - if it dies, you'll get no power to the pump. You can replace it for a few dollars with a new one.
