I would check to see if inertia switch in the trunk needs to be reset. There is a fuel pump relay and fuse.

You might as well replace the engine, it is about the same cost. So you are looking at about $2000.00

As with any no start issue, you will have to figure out if you are loosing fuel to the injectors or spark to the plugs to proceed.Common problems with Ford products is the ignition module and the fuel pump relay.

Click and no crank you need to go to the battery and ensure they are connected well,If the car just click check the battery terminal and do you have a clean connection remove any grime on it,Get the car to crank and if you do get it to crank and you still dont hear the fuel pump I want you to direct the fuel pump through the OBD 1 connection.I also would like you to gather a code by counting the flashing light,Do you have this connection it on the right side front

yes solinoid in starter sounds bad
