If I remember correctly, the signal for the pump comes from the cam sensor. The pump should run for 3-6 seconds when the key is first turned to the "on" position and then when the ECU registers pulse from the cam sensor it sends the signal to the relay to run the pump. If you have a signal coming out of the cam sensor I would look to ECU replacement.

Not very easy with the door closed, but call on all your resources, you probably could do it. Some bending maybe needed. You might even consider removing the driver's seat- that would give you lots more room-lol. The whole upper part has to lift up and over the window channel to remove. That is after you get all the screws and plastic push pins unfastened so the panel is free to pull off. Before you do all that, try rolling the window all the way down and direct some spray down towards the lock cylinder and rod. You might loosen it up to work.

Dear Charlie, May I suggest you take the car to a good (old?) mechanic and have it "changed?". Right now the fuel pump is hooked to the battery directly, which is why the pump will not turn off. Please have him hook the pump up so it only runs when the ignition is on. God bless your efforts.

Try starting fluid. Gas is probably bad and needs to be drained. The engine will fire or run briefly with starting fluid verifying a fuel problem.

I dont think nothing is wrong maybe your just over powering the vehcile which causes the computer to back down

check the fuel pressure with a gage and check the fuel volume as if either one is bad can cause this problem.

If the fuel filter is clean, you may want to ditch that EFI for a 550 or 600 CFM spread bore Vac. secondary carb. Or you could repair/replace the EFI...

check idle speed control if bad car idling low it will stall when goiing bad it goes up and down in speed idle
