MANUAL TRANSMISSION? or auto, well no matter the transfer case matters./ FIRST TIME EVER USING PART TIME 4WD, CAR? IF YES IT ONLY WORKS OF ROAD OR ICE/SNOW, NO ON PAVEMENT UNLESS COVERED IN ICE SNOW. IT IS NOT FULL TIME 4WD OR AWD. i CAN NOT SHIFT THE 4WD LEVER TO NEUTRAL YOU MEANT? WELL THAT MEANS YOU WOUND UP THE FRONT AND REAR AXLES LIKE A SPRING,AND THE ONLY CURE IS 1 WHEEL(TIRE) MOVE TO DIRT.?(ICE) OR MORE. THEN IT UNWINDS. This car has no center differential. and is not AWD or full time 4wd, it s part time, means (ice or dirt ) said simple moving car like that steering goes wild and fights you. 4wd is pure ww2 jeep like or like my new jeep wrangler the user guide lost 32 years ago tells this same story.. of dry pavement locked , are you. jack one wheel off ground and it un-winds. with PART time 4wd, turning the inside wheel spin slower and you wind it up just like clock. a very unsafe practice

The switch that the ignition actuator rod pushes on can be adjusted upward. Make sure the steering column itself isn't damaged though you can damage the switch if the column is worn out and you adjust it upward

Check your main wire connector plug. Left side behind wheel well

dose it crank at all ?

Check into clogged cat converter. Also Overheating.

Yeah, that's consistent with fuel pump fail or bad relay or fuse.

check for a stuck brake caliper

Is this a standard shift if so sounds like the clutch safety these are known to were out bushings and not work

Replace the TPS (throttle position sensor) and see if that helps. They do get old and go bad. don-ohio

Not a good idea to do this. If you cut threw a fuel line while cutting the floor, You will catch the vehicle on fire. This would be very difficult to put out, because the fire would be between the floor and gas tank.

Run a new wire from the relay to the pump. DO NOT splice into a wire. Make sure the relay has power first and is working.

Look at the model of your Kenwood, google it and select wiring diagram. Or go on the Kenwood main site. Or go to google images with your make/model and see what comes up. You don't say what model so we can't help.

Go to website auto touch up.com they list the years...and show the color codes...Hope this helps.
