For the 5.9L engine, my info says 35--45 psi.

If its not an inline style under the body its more than likely an in tank unit.

hiya dont know much but I do know that the fuel pump in that year are usually in the gas tank....have to pull the hole gas tank.

Are you sure its oil? Or is it just condensation? Does it use a lot of oil? If it dosent use oil its just condensation. If it uses a lot of oil like a quart to a couple hundred miles its time for a new or replacement engine.

Run a new mains B+12 from the battery + terminal/post, tape it to the original harness, through the firewall, under the dash, up the steering column and to the "B" terminal of the IGN switch. It would seem that you have a multiple electrical issue and perhaps that is what the dealer is referring to as "cost more to actually find the problem" you mentioned in our Live Session.

Installing a new mains B+12 would be easier/faster than tracing the old one.

Sounds as if the ignition control module is getting hot and not allowing it to restart. Had the same issue with a Dodge b-250 van, except for the plowing part. It would run for about an hour and start sputtering and shut off. After it cooled down, van would start and run great for the same length of time and do it again.

Yes if the ECM is defective the car wont start, the ECM controls the fuel injection, spark etc

I would start with checking the plugs, wires, coil packs. If you haven't had a tune up in a while it will never hurt to replace these. Also check and clean throttle body. Check all around your intake manifold at each vacuum line for cracks and or leaks. May also be your catalytic converter. Does it run fine in park and neutral but have a loss of power in gear. Hope this helps

Try plugs and plug wires, changing cap, rotor & coil only amplified your problem. Leads me to believe you have bad plug wires.
