If you did not replace the filter with the pump the filter could be blocked. Or something in the fuel line to the engine. You might check the pressure regulator too.

Normally the switch never fails and if you mean that there is no power to the dash or the starter- solenoid , it is best to check out the fuse box and check on the fuse marked IGN. it is possible either this has failed or the link on the battery hasa failed.

Is your truck of the vintage that will be able to start in gear (1st) with the clutch in? If so, then try that and then lift the clutch to see where it engages. If it engages at the very bottom, and the rest is play, then clearly you have an adjustment issue. If the clutch catches at near normal like on inch+ off top end pedal, then you may have a high idle issue together with bag syncs. Where does it feel like it engages when the engine is off? Does it feel normal with only the top end play light, or does it feel light throughout the pedal?

Regarding 4 Wheel Drive problems,
Always follow Owners Manual for when and how to utilize 4 Wheel Drive. In most cases it should not be activated when vehicle is moving. Automatic Transmissions with 4 Wheel Drive have a Transfer Case similar to that used with Manual Transmissions. Shifting between LOW 4WD and HIGH 4WD should be selected while the vehicle is stopped. Again, follow Owners Manual Instructions. If you hear strange Grinding Noises have a Certified Technician check out your vehicle immediately.

Sorry that you are having troubles but, it sounds like the problem is more than a simple fix to me. If your Vehicle has Manual Locking Hubs make sure they are in the correct position for use in 4WD.

When the check engine light is on the best thing to do is put it on a scanner. AutoZone along with other auto parts stores will do this for free. They should be able to give you an idea of what to replace. please rate my answer so I get points for it.

Check ALL fuses. A fuse could be labeled for say your cigarette lighter but power some lights in your dash. Also check the connection. Look for corrosion or signs of scorching.

What year, make, model and engine sizes there?

There are MANY things that can cause that symptom. However, the first thing I would look for is a malfunctioning Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor.

you adjust the backlash and pinion depth by add or removing shims from the side bearings and from under the large pinion bearing, here is a pattern chart, you will need to get some pattern past and put on the gears then turn the pinion and check the pattern on the gears keep adding or removing shims until you have the pattern correct.....good luck\

P.S. I cant recommend doing this job by yourself get some help from someone who has done this before, 9 out of 10 people who try this repair will destroy the rear end, if the pinino depth is to deep you will brake the ring gear if to shallow the rear end will make so much noise you can't drive it.

I can send you what you need but the only thing I see as far as an ECU would be the ECM for a diesel. Are you talking about the PCM plug? There is a PCM for both gas and diesel. You can email me at [email protected] with what information you are needing exactly and I will be happy to email you what you need. Just need to be sure I'm giving you the correct stuff.
