If the heater hoses are getting hot to the core (check under the hood) then the problem is more than likely the air temperature controls blend door, it is either stuck or the tiny drive motor is defective, in most cases both are in need of replacement.

If you can name a component that has a ground problem, i'll see what I can find, but, all grounds, that's throwing a wide loop. Battery connections all good? odds and end components, I just use a redundant ground. Splice into the ground wire, run wire to clean metal spot. i've done it many times, haven't had any issues, just depends, ground for what?

Broken wire ... bad connector ... do some voltage checks.

Code is an EGR problem and there is lots about it on the link below. EGR wouldn't usually prevent the engine starting and while it could be a contributory cause, I think you will need to look elsewhere for the cause. https://ibb.co/bFQfxGg Click on the link, check that fuse. Not only check the fuse, use a test light and see if voltage at the fuse. Some fuses are hot all the time, some go hot with key on. The turn signal fuse usually goes hot with the key on. So, check it both ways. I don't believe there is a separate flasher, the circuitry is integrated into the integrated power model, located under the hood. That fuse is located in that module. If I'm wrong, my bad, my database didn't show a separate flasher.
