Where exactly are the oxygen sensors located on a 1998 Ford Mustang V6? And which one is bank 1, 2, etc?
The oxygen sensors are located in 4 positions Bank 1 is the passenger side of the vehicle on Ford's 2 driver side. Bank 1 sensor 1 is at the bottom of the exhaust manifold where it connects to the exhaust pipes. Bank 1 sensor 2 is underneath the vehicle just past the catalytic convertor. Bank 2 is exactly the same as one but obviously on the other side.

Im not 100 percent but I would check the underhood fusebox. The lid should have a diagram stating the jobs of all of the fuses.

where in my 1997 mustang is the fuse box
The 1994-98 Mustang vehicles are equipped with two fuse boxes, or locations: the fuse junction panel and the power distribution box.
The fuse junction panel is located under the left-hand side of the instrument panel and is an integral part of the chassis wiring harness. The fuse junction panel contains only some of the fuses and circuit breakers for the vehicle.
The indicator flasher and fuse junction panel are located under the left-hand side of the instrument panel, to the left of the steering column
The other location for fuses and relays is the power distribution box, which is located in the engine compartment on the left-hand, front fender apron. This box contains the high power fuses and was designed to take the place of most of the fusible links.
Note that the identification of the fuses and relays is embossed into the power distribution box cover

I need a color coded stereo wiring diagram for my 1998 ford mustang
where is the freeze plug located on a 3.8 ford mustang v6 motor
2 plugs on each side of the motor, under the exhaust manifold center of block you cant miss them. Tap them gently on the sides to turn them, then pry them off. Do not drop them inside the engine thus they are impossible to remove.

How do I adjust the headlights on a 1998 Mustang GT? I bought a 4mm tool and the screws turn on the back side, but the black adjuster thing going through the holes just go around with the screw. ?????
The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly,
behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator
support.
You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam
(separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and
lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal
adjustment screws as well
Park
your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height
from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams
and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same
bulb, only do it for the lows)
For Low Beams: If the headlights read VOR, then
aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall.
If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.
For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall.

where is the fuel pump relay on 1998 mustang???? Exact location???? thanks for your help.
First
thing to note is that the relay is housed in a Constant Control Relay
Module (CCRM). This module contains the relay for the Fuel Pump,
Cooling Fan, and Air Conditioning Clutch.
In our 1998 Mustang V6, the location of the CCRM is behind the passenger
side wheel well plastic cover. Looking at the wheel dead on - it's
found at around the 1 o'clock position. To confirm it's location
without removing any plastic wheel well cover - pop the hood, and look
for a wire harness routing from the engine compartment INTO the
passenger side front fender (near the air cleaner). Flash a light in
there, and you'll see a connector attached to the module.
I'll save you some headaches in finding the right size tool to remove
the connector as well - I used a 5mm nut wrench to remove the connector
from the module. Do this first so that you can access one of the two
bolts that holds the module bracket to the fender.
found this at the allfordmustangs web site. hope this helps

my 1998 mustang gt the anti theft is flashing the pcm data link is dead doesnt let nothing read the computer the car just keeps cranking but doesnt start the fuel pumps is good does thr ccrm has to do with this problem i changed the transciever on the ignition but didnt help its like theres no power in the front engine the fuses our good i think it cuold be the pcm or ccrm module
If the antitheft light is blinking then the pcm is not getting a signal from the PATS transponder. The Check transponder ring, wiring, PCM fuse in under the hood fuse panel, and lastly pcm. Good luck.
