not sure on falcon but on many ford models they use a plastic impeller in the fuel pump .. that works fine until you run out of gas .. that could be just rounding a corner with the gas low ... once the pump runs dry the impeller is damaged quickly and you have just lost an expensive fuel pump .. if the pump jambs then it will likely blow the fuel pump fuse ...you can check with a voltmeter to see if you are getting power back there .. if so and it still doesn't work then start looking for a new pump ..its not a safe job changing the pump in some models .. really hard if the tank is full ..

The boost button is probably stuck. If yours is in the steeting whell, there is usually four screws on the back side to remove the horn assembly to get access to the button. clean it with brake clean. If you think it's the ecm, disconnect the battery for 30 minutes this will reset all the computers.

You swear your car is coming apart in every way. I promise you, if a battery has a short(or collapsed cell) it will become hard to crank, start, and will make a very minor lighting issue look like it's going to take a complete rebuild. Replace your battery and make sure you put the proper "group" or size in the vehicle. This is important because you need something that will not only handle day to day ops but all the little bells and whistles that get added in. About 800 CCA is going to be a good battrey for these cars. Autozone has them for about $95 with warranty. Lel me know if you need anything else.

Make sure the blower runs, then make sure the heat and ventilation control doors move as they should. If you have hot coolant flowing through the heater core, air flow through the core, and appropriate air flow path, then you will have heat.

There are tiny bulbs behind the cluster that probably burnt out. Remove the trim around the cluster, I'm not sure if the radio needs to removed if this vehicle. a few bolts and you should be able to tilt the cluster out and downwards to access the back. If not then disconnect the connector and remove assmebly. Then replace the bulbs and hopefully they're the issue!

If you have made sure that the timing marks were set right on harmonic balancer before removing distributor then point the rotor toward the terminal/H/T lead that leads to no.1 plug. There should be a mark on the distributor that indicates no.1 position. Its just a line in the distributor where the cap sits on the distributor.
