Idle speed adjustment 1990 Dodge Spirit 2.5
Hi there.Alright I've no the game they play.On top of the throttle body close to where the throttle linkage is you'll see like a little cap. What your looking for here is where the throttle linkage rest when its at idle. You'll see the screw that comes out and the throttle rests on.That you'll want to turn. You probably cant see the screw head because of a cap or little cover thats over it.Try and remove that cap and if you ruin the cap taking it out thats alright it doesnt have to be put back in or you can do what they probably did.Grab a pair of pliers and grag the part thats sticking out and try treading it in a litlle.his should work for ya.thanks for your time and good luck and have a great day

Dead battery or alternator?
Sounds as if the alternator is shot.
You can take the battery and alternator in to any parts store NAPA, AutoZone, Murrays, etc. to have it load tested for free.

How to fix heater core 1992 dodge spirit
Take my word for it, you don't want to fix it. Take it to your local radiator shop and have someone put a heater core in it for you. You will be way better off. I've done these before and it takes about 6- 8 hrs. The whole dash has to come out. The steering column has to be dropped. If I had one of those cars that needed a heater core, I would take it somewhere and have it done. Phil
Air conditioning
Look on the outside at the firewall (back end of engine area ) on the passenger side. Little black rubber tube sticking out, usually 90 degrees, pointing down. You need to get something up in there and clean it out, but be careful not to go too far or too hard as you don't want to poke a hole in the unit.
Car wont stay running even at a idle
It sounds like your alternator is almost done. Thats power distribution right there. If your alternator doesnt work, your car will run for a minute or two on battery power. Then it will kill the battery. If your car starts, its not the injection system, but you might need fuel injector cleaner to just run through your fuel injection system. To check the alternator, get someone to jump your car. leave the cables connected for about five minutes letting the car run. If it still dies, you need to clean your fuel injection system. If it doesnt die, its your alternator. A alternator costs about a hundred bucks.
How can I install brake anti-rattle clips?
Brake anti-rattle clips are used to reduce brake noise and vibration caused by loose-fitting brake pads. Here are the general steps for installing brake anti-rattle clips:
- Remove the wheel/tire assembly from the vehicle.
- Remove the brake pads from the caliper.
- Clean the caliper, rotor, and brake pad mounting surfaces with brake cleaner and a wire brush.
- Apply a thin layer of brake lubricant to the caliper, rotor, and brake pad mounting surfaces.
- Install the brake pads into the caliper, making sure they are properly aligned and seated.
- Install the brake anti-rattle clips onto the brake pad ears or shims. Some clips may have a specific orientation, so check the manufacturer's instructions.
- Use a brake pad spreader tool or C-clamp to compress the caliper piston back into its bore. This will allow enough space for the brake pads to fit over the rotor with the anti-rattle clips in place.
- Reinstall the caliper onto the rotor and torque the caliper bolts to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Repeat the process for the other side of the vehicle.
- Reinstall the wheel/tire assembly and torque the lug nuts to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Pump the brake pedal a few times to ensure proper brake pad-to-rotor contact before driving the vehicle.

Possible broken motor mount(s)
Check your motor mounts. Broken doesn't always mean "in Pieces". A motor mount is basically a shock absorber made of some type of rubber, held in place by a metal bracket.
