Did you check/change O2 sensor and PCV valve? Usually guranteed way to fail...

Hello,

If you had your breaks done recently take it back and tell them to bleed your brakes. Here some issues I have found before:

1 Air in the brake lines (Fix this by pumping the breaks till they get hard and the other person releaves the pressure by turning the bleed valve on the caliper until the fluid is not milky and repeat to all wheels)
2 Master cylinder is broken (R/R)
3 The cylinder on one or both of the calipers is stuck (R/R)
4 I even had a bad wheel bearing cause this when turning left only (who would have guessed) of course a very short time later I was being towed.

I don't think there is a filter on the out side, there's one in the tank at the fuel pump

It usually is, there is a set of wires going to the transmission it is the reverse light switch, On some cars the light is controled by the neutral safety switch so you may need to replace it.

Make sure car is in park then try moving ignition switch back towards you and then forward as if trying to start it. That seemed to work for our 86 Dodge 600 auto.

my mustang convertable had steel cables to keep tension and move the top... try looking that up on google and see how yours works

Did you try moving shifter while trying to start? Try to start in Neutral?
