If you have the 3.7L V6 or 4.7L V8, your transmission is fully electronically controlled by a transmission control module (TCM). This module stores codes just like the PCM does for engine problems. Find a mechanic or a code reader that can read codes from the TCM to see if it has any codes stored, and what the codes indicate as the problem. Near the blower motor.

You have gasbinbthe tank? . Fuses chech all and relays and check if you have pulsation in the inyectors

How could one answer that with such a poor description. Manual? Electric??

Unless you know a whole lot about diagnosing and rebuilding transmissions, you need to get it to a qualified transmission shop. From your description, the only external checks are to see if the driveshafts are securely installed, and see if there is any evidence of excessive transmission fluid leaks.

Have you checked light bulb and soffit see if you have power there.

Replace the handle?

Cold be a few things. First is to do a cylinder compression test. I f they are good, could just need a tune up. Could also be a transmission problem. Have the codes read. Slow pick up could be shift solenoid. Put the shifter in low gear. See what it does. Manually shift it.

Bert, look in your manual for an over drive fuse/relay and check them as a first step, could be a faulty 3/4 solenoid. Take it into a good shop and have scanned, diagnosed and estimate for repair. i believe you have the problem to find it will be fun lol

Sounds like a major problem with the wiring harness going to the engine. When the engine shifts the wires are getting shorted out or loosing connection.
