No lights period, truck had cables backwards

Your local Napa store should be able to print you out a wiring diagram, provided it is available for that year. Also, if you get a repair manual, they usually have the diagrams in the back.

Trying to locate which fuse goes to the license

Do you have tail lights? If yes ......then the fuse is OK.
The fuse for tail lights is in the fuse box.......either....the one inside or the other in the engine compartment.
Usually it's burnt bulbs and bad connections.

NO that Jb weld would fall off in less than a day. It get really hot and your best bet is to go to autozone and ask if they have a kit to replace holes on manifolds.

85 s-10 2.5l no fuel from the injectors

electronic engine control unit calculates the mass of fuel to inject, not how wide it sprays. It's the type of solenoid that you use. Some have wider spray nzzles than others. An external Fuel pump helps the delivery of the fuel. Also since fuel injectors rely on mass air flows nowadays, you have to have proper mixture coming through. hows your Fuel pressure regulator?

The throttle position sensor reports to the computer the position of the throttle butterfly valve, which the ECM uses to calculate the load upon the engine-but inorder for this to run, you may need an external pump.

Sounds like nothing is being grounded back to the ECM to even give a reading. If your regulator is improper and you do not have a external pump (depending on your model), than check those. If not, Start from scratch.

If you ever lose your way, go back to the beginning_REWIRE!

Goodluck.

84 s15 2.8l misfire, popping carb, and gas and coolant in oil

Wow, sounds like head gasket &/or timing problem. First thing you need to do is a pressure test on cooling system to see if head gasket gone, then I'd do a compression test as well. Have you pulled any spark plugs to see what they look like?

85 chevy s10 carb

It all depends what kind of carb it is, if its a Q-jet and it works good 100.00 is a fair price, if its a holley or edelbrock 150.00 would be a fair price, but if the engine is good it would be best to sell it with the engine and get more.
