Why would fuses to running lights keep poping?

Because you have a short in the circuit. Everything in there will have to be tested: switches, relays, connectors and all the wires in between.

86 s-10, 2.8 v6. Changed the distributor and

It would be easy enough if that was the firing order but it isn't. The firing order is1-6-5-4-3-2. The odd numbers are on the driver's side front to back and the even numbers on the passenger side. #1 on the distributor points to the front of the engine and the distributor turns clockwise. Hope this helps.

I have 2000 chevy blazer

You may have to inspect the fuel lines. It will be best to check while the pump is priming. That is while the key is in the 'RUN' position.

I have an 84 chevrolet

Sounds like the ignition module is over heating, remove it and reapply some heat grease and reinstall it, if that doesn't stop the issue, replace it with a new one. (Make sure you apply the heat grease to the bottom of it)

My 1985 chevrolet s-10 pickup

These trucks are famous for the hydraulic master cylinder or the slave cylinder for the clutch to start leaking fluid out. When the fluid gets low it won't go in gear. Check the small resevor on the fire wall. Add dot 3 brake fluid if low. Be sure to pull the rubber cup out after taking the top off then add fluid if low.

1985 Chevrolet S10 stays in

Your tranny may be gummed up. There are ball bearings inside it that move to cover different holes. One or more is probably stuck. Try some trans sealer and conditioner or a flush, just follow the directions on the label. They are about $6 to $20 at parts stores.

I am driving in town and it shifts from 3rd to 4th

You don't have 5 speeds
You have 4 speeds and converter lock-up
Fluid Changes are good and are done every
30,000 miles, not more than that on any vehicle
Fluid only cools and lubes, doesn't repair thing
if it slips, new fluid makes it worse

What you do is go to a trans shop and have
them check the cable adjustment from the
trans to the throttle.
And have them understand the issues and road
test with you in the truck
