If you look at the engine from the front, there is a big belt called a serpentine belt. That belt connects the fan, air conditioner, power steering pump, alternator etc. There is a pulley on it the maintains the tension. The is the idler pulley. They are plastic in most cases and wear out or squeal.

A hard to find water leak on 2005 chevy trailblazer 4.2. i think its the resivoir or a hose but not sure exactly, is there a common leak with this vehichle in that area?

Use a white paper towel and dip it on wet spot, if no color then it is water, probably from A/C accumulator which is normal for all vehicles with A/C, if Pink (dex-cool) or green its antifreeze which could indicate a problem. No towel?, taste it on end of your finger, sweet means coolant no taste means water. Do same thing for wet passenger floor area to determine fluid. If sweet or colored there is a coolant leak from the heater core , if water it would be from some other source unless heater housing broken and rani water leaking down from the heater fan cage.

My 2005 trailblazer makes a bird chirping noise. Exactly like birds. My mechanic replaced the belt but it is still making the noise.

If is a serpentine belt, take it out and check the belt tensioner. some of them have a screw that allows for tightening/loosing the belt. Sometimes it looses some bearings and it could chirp.

Were is the fuse for door bell

Is the door chime working and you want to disable it or is there no chime at all?First off the door chime comes through the radio speaker,if you need to disable it you will need to cut the wire from the speaker to the chime. If is annoying you can spray foam on it and muffle it .I believe that it uses data bits from the head unit (radio) to function so another way to get rid of it is sort of drastic but change out your head unit.Sorry your question only asked about where the fuse is and to the best of my knowledge is that is is none.

2005 Chevy trailblazer ext. engine whines

Sometimes when your altenator bearings are going bad they will make a whining noise, could also be power steering pump, try to see if you can isolate the noise to one or the other, is it louder on one side of the engine or the other side. That would help to narrow it down.

Crank no start

Better yet-- what have you done? Do you not have a repair shop you have used for years or decades? Have you done any testing at all-- yourself? Testing, that is the only answer to finding a problem You say it cranks but you have a no start condition You check for the fuel pump running You check fuel pressure with a gauge You check for spark or injector pulse What changed from the last time it started & ran okey?

Error code p0420 and p0303

Code 303 is a miss or lack of power on cylinder 3. If you know for a fact that cylinder is getting spark it could be an injector problem. Code 420 means the catalytic converter is not performing up to standard which could be several things including the miss on cyl 3.
