Chevy engine wont start

Did they reverse polarity on you ? It's possible that they did just that, and when reconnected it, fried your electronics.

Chevy 2005 4x4 silverado low oil pressure replaced oil sending unit and the cluster 137000miles no noise from engine

By the time you hear noise from the engine it will be too late for that engine. You may need an oil pump replacement. Have a mechanic check the oil pressure. It's cheaper than replacing the engine.

My truck wont start and I don't know why

Wow! Jim I feel for you man that sucks! I will try to help you as best I can. It's going to take some q and a back and forth. First, what was the original problem you said "it broke down" meaning what? It died while you where driving it, you went to start it one day and it wouldn't? Also, what is the status now? It sounds like you have it put back together. I haven't watched your video yet but the gauges being weird is secondary to the bigger picture. Also, it would help to know which engine we are working on. Since it's been sitting for 3 months there is no guarantee that your battery is up to snuff. Also, when you say nothing happened does that mean it cranks but wont start, or it wont even crank. If it does not crank we'll deal with that first. I suspect that you battery will be dead or nearly so having sat all winter. You need to take it out, and take it somewhere that will test it and charge it so you can eliminate the as a part of the problem. At the very least maybe someone you know has a battery charger you can barrow. If it still wont crank something is disconnected or hooked up wrong. If after charging the battery it cranks but still wont start in a few seconds, don't keep grinding on it you'll just run the battery down. Get back to me after you know for sure the battery is good. and we'll go to the next step.

Truck won't shift into gear

Oh, boy - this could be pricey!! Either the shift linkage came apart or the Transmission went bad. Find the shift linkage rod coming through the firewall and follow it to the transmission. Check for connection to the trans and if the grommets are good. If both are good, then you'll need to get it to a transmission shop to be investigated. If no Linkage rod, then your trans is 'wired' meaning it is electronically controlled, and the shift solenoid ( or other component)is bad or has a bad connection. If this is the case, locate the shift solenoid on the side of the trans and inspect the wires - if any are burnt or lumpy, that would be bad and need replacement. Hope this helps!!

2005 silverado 1500 replaced both front incriminating sensors. Still have a fault code for sensor 2.

Do you mean O2 sensors? There are 2 O2 sensors that run the engine right and left banks. There also is one behind the catalytic converters that monitor the health of the converters but have nothing to do with engine efficiency. Also make sure the converters aren't becoming restricted or partially blocked. This condition would screw with the O2 sensors and cause a code. Take it to a muffler place if you suspect the converter is plugged. They have a test they can do to determine that. Lack of power at full throttle indicates a plugged converter.

Electrical problem instrument panel

This is most likely due to a BCM failure. The BCM is under the steering column. It is a computer that controls all the functions that you are describing. IT is hard to say why it is acting up. There is a ground wire on the back of the engine near the heads and if this was left off or is a weak connection that could cause this.
