My 2004 hood latch cable came loose and the hood
first,
try smacking the hood at one of the front corners while someone else
pulls the release handle. or even after you've pulled on it. if that
works, once open, adjust and lubricate the hood latch assembly. if it
still won't open, and
it's the cable and not the latch you'll have to replace it anyway, so
instead of removing the grill, cut the cable behind the pull lever
under the dash where you can reach it. then skin the outer cable
insulation away from the actual steel cable exposing an inch or two of
it. then holding the insulation and plastic housing with pliers, grab
the steel cable itself with pliers and pull it to open the hood. then
replace the cable. the further you can reach up under the panel the
better your chances of getting past the broken part of the cable and
avoid removing the grill. you might also be able to gain access from up
under the car if you're lucky.

Try pushing the trunk release and turning the key in the lock at the same time.
It sounds like the electric lock has not released for what ever reason.

It may be a torn or damaged CV joint boot on the axle. When these rubber boots become worn, they will rip open and release the grease inside, when this happens you get clunking or sevear chattering. You can look under the front of the vehicle and visually inspect the boots. From behind the tire, you will see a ruuber boot, and another boot located closer to the transmission, which is near the middle of the car.
It may also be a loose exhaust system component or engine/ trans mount.
How do i change front wheel bearings in my 2005
Easy one but you need a few tools. Remove the big axle nut in the center of the hub, the brake caliper, the brake caliper bracket, the rotor. Then look around behind the knuckle, there will be 3 or 4 bolts that hold the bearing assembly in the knuckle, remove them and the abs connector, then pull the bearing out of the knuckle.
