Chevy 2004 blazer ac stoped

I mworking on my blazer AC unit now . You have a problem with the compressor clutch or the compresser Its likely the clutch its supposed to cycle about 8 times per minute . So it goes on then off 8 times per munite this is normal . However if the clutch dosen't spin then the belt will drag on the clutch pulley this will stall the engine until the belt wares out but this will damage every part that the belt rides on . The water pump the alternator powersteering pump and belt tenisinor not to mention the belt .It sounds like your clutch is seized try not to run it until you can figure out why the clutch isn't spining

2004 chevy blazer ac stoped working and if the ac

I would suspect you have a bad A/C compressor. When you engage the A/C, the clutch locks up the pulley which kills your motor from the drag on the belt. Replace the compressor, evaporator and valve, then recharge system to 55 psi.

How do you disconnect the ashtray light to replace

I just did this on my 04 blazer. Remove the ashtray from the holder. There are 2 small scews in the corner of the ashtray (remove them) pull out the ashtray holder, it will only come out about 1 to 2 inches just enough to get your fingers behing the back of the holder. Here you have to removed the cig lighter connector then you could see the ashtray bulb holder, It is plastic so be careful. You have to push in and turn the buld holder. It only has 1 plastic tag on the side to hold it in place. Then you can remove the buld. It look like the old tail light buld fixtures with the slot on the side. Its easy to replace but a pain to get to.

It might be two different things. First have the ball-joints checked for the creaking. Also have the tire balanced checked for the vibration.

2004 blazer 4.3L heater blows cool air, i flushed

If the heater core has gone out you'll know it because it'll be leaking inside and you can smell it. Check the heater hoses and make sure they are both warm (which means the hot water is circulating). If not, I'd think the heater control valve is stuck. If it is, then I'd check to make sure the vent doors are working correctly. They are usually vacuum actuated. Are all the vents blowing according to the setting on the a/c control panel?

No heat need to chnge thermostat

Very straight forward oin this vehicle-2 bolts.you may also want to backflush the heater core as this likes to plug.Make sure not to get to much water by the distributor as this will cause a running rough concern.
