Describe your 2002 Astro van temperature gauge
Check coolant level, and possibly replace thermostat. When a thermostat gets stuck in the closed position, coolant does not circulate thru motor. Gauge stays midrange when driving, because motor is being cooled by air and or the fan. If car seems to operate completely normal, then the gauge is faulty.
My blower wont work on hi
assuming you are talking about the FRONT blower...
have you checked the front 30A HVAC fuse under the hood?
I need to do a hydraulic brake system flush on my
Yes with care it is a simple process.
firstly it is unusual to fully flush. I think you mean bleed. Either way it is the same process.
I could explain but first try this. Go to the library get the shop manual. Ask for the Bentley version if possible. If not the Haynes version. If they don't have it they will get it from another branch (free). It is all in there.
Take care opening the bleeder valves as they are easy to break. Use a flare nut wrench if possible. If sticky use WD40. If they still don't open apply heat with a torch.
You need a helper. Do not press the brake all the way down when bleeding as you can damage the master cylinder. Push only half way.
In short
Open reservoir.
Starting with brake farthest from the master cylinder (usually rear passenger) working to nearest (front driver)
Attach tube to bleeder valve and run to container to catch fluid.
Press brake half way down.
Open bleeder valve on the brake and allow fluid to run out.
Close valve.
Release brake.
Repeat until constant clear flow of fluid.
Check the level in the reservoir frequently and keep above minimum mark at all times. Top to max when done.
Don't allow any fluid to get into the bake at any time it will ruin the pads and cost you $ to replace.
Thats it.
Doors lock and unlock and lock over and over
hi this sounds like one of the door locks have either stuck in the up position or the relay has stuck in the open switch position i don't think it will be the rke as that will only work when it is pressed although the receiver could be at fault not the key itself...hope this helps
How do I remove the left door panel on 2002 Chevy
1st remove the screws to the door handle back guard plate as well as any screws to the door arm rest and remove the lock switch it simply pushes out from pushing in on it ..then remove the screws to the mirror area and any other screws to the seat belt area if it attaches to the door after all the screws are removed pull out from the bottom edge of the door you'll need to really give a good tug at it as it is secures by plastic segmented /grooved retaining clips then remove the wires to the electrical switches and remove the plastic that surrounds the door ..note you may only need to remove half of it to do your task at hand ...installation id reverse procedure with the exception you may wish to tape the plastic to secure any wind noises that may occur from it not re-sticking
