Freon gas travels thru the system and changes from a liquid to a gas and back when the compressor is running.If you charge the system and it leaks out in a few days, you have a major leak somewhere.

check your gauge,,, there is a tool wheere u can check real temperature on ur engine from 1 or 2 feet of distance...

it sounds like your alternator is bad. take your car to any auto-zone and they will bench test it for free.they will also test your battery. a car battery can run your car for a couple of days depending on how far and and how many time you start it,what electrical load you put on it.hope this helps.

need to check switch for power if power to switch than test and check connector if good than test switch may have gone bad --no power to switch test and check wiring harness and fuses---power good thru switch than need to test motor for wiring problem or motor short
