In the book a 96 model only fits 96-98 cars. But the actual pump may be the same. You get an assembly including float and lines when you buy a new part. You may be able to look at a new assembly for each year and tell if the actual pumps are the same style.

the fuel pump is located in the fuel tank, remove gas tank and all lines and wires,remove lock ring and replace fuel pump and screen filter reverse to install

check all those item again, especially the crank sensor, check the fuel pump by adding 12v to it, make sure its good. tun on key, make sure your getting 12v from fuel pump wire

Yes. You have to disconnect the wires to the bag before you disconnect the battery. Then there are special tools necessary to get the steering wheel off to get to the switch.

Inmost vehicle the head light relay is either in the engine compartment fuse bus or under the dash on the drivers side of the vehicle. If you are in a country that drives on the left side of the road not sure if they switch the location of the fuse bus under the dashboard. But usually the headlight relay is found in the engine compartment fuse bus.

Check the earth wire from the battery to the engine or if it goes to a body connection check the earth strap that runs around an engine mount

sounds like a bad crank sensor. it tells computer when its time to fire the spark

unplug negative battery cable for 5-10 min

try to start the car then leave the ignition on for exactly 10 minutes then turn the key off(anti theft will stop flashing). and try to start it again..... might take three tries

The plug wires could. if it a 2.2 if it's a 2.4 bet on the coil cover, the big plastic piece that houses the coils.

most likely the ignition coil cover,the big plastic piece,they get carbon tracked and make a bad misfire,about 50 bucks
