check throttle position sensor!! at throttle plate on side of throttle body.

Reolace belt, alternator, and volt regulator, and new battery. sounds like your battery is on fumes. You could just try that first, but if it's the other prob., you could damage the battery.

Check your speedometer wire its usally on the transmission

You would not. All air in a fuel line will come out when the fuel pump is pressurized. I assume you have tried pumping the gas pedal? Also try depressing the pedal halfway down when you try to start it, if not press all the way down and try. You may have bad gas in the line or a blown fuse for the pump. It is very likely that the pump may be bad. But there should not be any issues with air in the line. You could possibly also have bad fuel injectors.

It sound like it's the Torque Converter clutch is worn and needs to be replaced, or your transmission fluid pressure is low. check the transmission fluid level and condition of the fluid, Make sure it's not burnt and has no bubbles in it. Take it to a transmission shop for a transmission oil and filter service and have them do a transmission fluid line test and have them scan the transmission with a tech 2 scanner. The Tech 2 scanner can reprogram the transmission for a higher line pressure and change the shift patterns if needed. An other thing too is to have the 4L60E transmission you have, get a servo swapped out with a corvette servo. The cost is $45.00 for the servos and takes about 30 min to do with out dropping the valve body. Good luck and hope this helps. keep me posted, be glad t help

I would replace the fluid and filter. Sometimes the fluid gets broken down and as it heats up it thins out and cannot create enough pressure. Also the filter could be clogged not allowing enough fluid to flow.

The WHITE WIRE connects to the POSITIVE (+) side of the coil
The BLUE WIRE connects to the NEGATIVE (-) side of the coil

sounds like the fuel pressure resulator too me !!!

hei module on the distributor can cause the same problem, but if it is an lt1 the distributor could be going out. The lt1's are known to get coolant inside of them and burn up. Easy way to check the problem is to get a fuel pressure gauge from advance auto parts and check the fuel pressure while your driving, just zip tie the gauge the the wipper arm and watch the gauge while driving. It's easier with a co-pilot.back to the Hei module, this module sends a signal to the computer to control injector pulse and ignition fire. If you take it off( under rotor) and bring it to Advance they can check it.

I thought the caprice had disk on all wheels?? But it sounds like it's time for the rear brakes to be serviced. If you do have rear drums the pads could be worn and the shoes are slipping and grabing. You can try backing up in a empty parking lot and backing up and giving full brake application. About the 7th application would reset the brakes, if that does not help then the breaks need to be serviced. Good kick

the valve is on the back side of the driver or passenger radiator side tanks (engine side) crawl under the car to see it or open it.

there are many things that could be wrong... evn though this caprice does not have points it does have a cap mounted coil that could be bad, also under neath the dist. is wuts called a pickup coil this coul also be bad. try a simple tune up first..plugs wires cap and rotor, new cap doesnt come with coil so you have to swap your old one into the new cap. getting a new coil wouldnt be to bad of an idea

Any Chevy dealership is usually the easiest place to get the key. They will ask you a few questions (VIN number, etc.) and with your answers, you will get the key you are after. An alternative (usually cheaper) is to go to a larger locksmith company in your area. They sometimes stock keys that can be cut to match your car, and cost up to half as much as what the dealer will ask. The only problem you may run into is if you have a Passkey chip in your key. If you know that there was one on the key, you will have to go to the dealer.

It's kind of strange that all 3 bulbs would blow at the same time.
Check the fuse, which is on the side of the dash when you open the driver door, or it could be the brake light switch, which is under the dash, near top and on back side of brake pedal, it might be stuck, or bad.

Anti-lock brake light is onI had this problem and there is no way to check it.
I took it to a shop and they find out, it is a wheel sensor.
You can ask for them to check it only, because you need to know which wheel, if you can repair it your self.
Reset it and after driving for a few miles it will flash again.

Approx. $50-$60. & yes you need it. It monitors your exhaust & fuel in it, to help computer adjust engine for best running condition/best fuel mileage etc.

sounds to me like you need a new ignition switch

change the speedometer gauge system completely
and if you have those little buttons on the door for the interior light to come on when opened sometimes those stick so spray WD40 around the button and see if that takes care of the problem
