94 4.3 chevy using water but no water in oil

if its not leaking it externally try a hydrocarbon test. you can buy the tester at auto parts stores. most common external leak points are lower intake gaskets, coolant hose that goes into lower intake on passenger front side of engine behind alternator. the hydrocarbon test will see if exhaust gases are entering the cooling system via a blown head gasket which is also a common problem on the 4.3 litre

There's too much play in the steering wheel of my

play in the steering wheel for that truck is more than likely caused by worn tie rod ends, and sometimes ball joints. The steering box is least likely to give you problems, unless it had bolts come loose. Check out the tie rod ends first; with the vehicle off, have someone else turn the steering wheel from left to right within that free zone, and look at the joints in the steering linkage. If you see one half of the joint moving more than the other half, you know it need replaced. I want to see how much front spring sag on a 1994 Chevy C-1500 Std. Cab. 4.3 engine I can't find factory sepcs.

The short wheelbase C1500 is 194.1 inches long, 76.4 inches wide (plus one-half inch for Sportsides/Widesides) and 70.4 inches tall. The long wheelbase adds 18.8 inches of length for a total of 212.9. The K1500 measures the same but rides a little higher at 73.8 inches, or 74.3 inches for the heavy-duty diesel. The C2500 has a height of 73 inches, while the K2500's height is 74.3 inches and the K3500 is 76 inches tall. Length and width figures for the 2500 and 3500 regular cabs are similar to the 1500 series at 212.9 inches and 76.4 inches, respectively. The extended cab with standard box measures 236.9 inches long. Blown fuse for wiper spray

no fuse. same as wiper motor. Check for clogged hoses most common.check switch in turn signal arm.might have to pull steering wheel on some models.

My 94 chevy pick up starts and files good but cuts out bad when put in gear and give gas

could be clogged fuel injectors or fuel filter could be plugged or your fuel pump is weak and needing replaced,what makes fuel pumps go bad in most vehichles is driving with less than a 1/4 tank of gas,it gets the fuel pump hot and works it too hard

sounds like the headlight switch needs to be replaced. it controls the headlights and dims the dash lights.

Controls for fan, ac and heater don&

There was a wiring issue with this truck, pull the heater control and check the blower switch for burned connectors and wiring.
