My van overheats how do i bleed my radiator
Overheating can be caused by many variables...How hot is overheating? Does your gauge register over 260% or does your hot kight come on? If so the problem would be related to other concerns too. Many cooling systems have a bleeder valve located on top of the thermostat housing...Is your coolant level low? Any leaks? The radiator cap can lead to overheating if defective...a low cost repair. Does your water pump belt make any noise? If so the belt could be slipping on the pump pulley...any drips from the bottom of the water pump (weep hole) usually mean it is time to replace the water pump. Also inspect all hoses for good connections, no leaks...a late response but hope this helps.
How do i bleed my radiator
you need to look on the bottom of the radiator there should be a p-**** valve that is where you would drain it - should be bottom side on one of the corners motor side - if no p- **** then you will have to remove bottom radiator hose
93 4.3 astro starts then stalls. Once It starts
you have a device that controls your idle speed called the idle air control valve. When it gets gummed up your engine may stall. However, the problem sounds more like the fuel pump, it's relay, or its ground. The ground is located on the left frame rail at the rear of the van. sometimes corrosion will cause a bad ground. You have many other sensor that can be bad, or connections to. when you say stall do you mean it will cut off while driving down the road or only when you let off the gas pedal to idle?
How do i remove lower radiator hose
The hoses are clipped to the mouth of the engine jackets and also to the radiators. To get access is the most difficult part and it is how you can do it within your limitations. You can try to release and loosen the hose clips on either side and the hose can be wriggled off.Sometimes access might need the removal of the front grill assembly.
Is there anything else that
oxygen sensors
map sensor
mass air flow sensor
fuel pressure regulator
idle air control valve
throttle postion sensor
fuel injectors
egr valve
All these sensors send a signal to the ecm to regulate the air/fuel mixture.
1993 astro van wont start when van has been
depends how long its been sitting if starts with easy start then its a fuel pump problem like the fuel has gone bad or the pump has gummed itself up ,so take it out and check that the pump still works as i suspect that its gummed up and good clean will cure it for you
Changed fuel tank on 1993 chevy astr van and now
You might be getting fuel to the rail, but are you getting enough? Double check the installation and make sure you didn't kink the fuel lines when putting the tank back in. This could cause a reduced fuel flow resulting in a no-start condition.

It spits and sputters while running in drive not
How long has it been since you had a tune-up? You might try to put new plugs in it first to see if that helps and then go from there. Sometimes cars do not cut out until they are under a load or while driving.
Hi can anybody tell me
To be totally honest it usually isn't a good idea to use stop leak when you have a frost plug leak. The best solution is to have it replaced. If this is not an option, I recommend Bar's stop leak, it has worked very well for me in the past.
