I need change my oil
Buy the oil pan from Chrysler and try to get an aftermarket
gasket kit from, let's say, auto zone. Believe original seal
is silicone. So much easier with a gasket and the silicone.
There is lot of stuff you have to remove and clear away, so
you may want to pick up a Haynes manual or equivalent.
Bent the frame in the
What you have is a vehicle thats unsafe to drive,if this is bent where i think it is then you need to have the chassis put on a special jig to straighten it out as i think the front sub frame is bent as well so your steering will pull to one side a scrub your front tyres out ,Also this can be seen when vehicle goes for its annual vehicle mechanical inspection and if this sort of defect is found then vehicle cannot be driven on a public road untill its either repaired with a certificate from a technical engineer or taken for scrap with a certificate of scrappage from a authorised scrap yard with the appropiate recycling certificate .
I have a 1997 dodge
I would check the iacv or idle air control valve if so equipped. This controls the amount of air that enters the throttle body. If it fails to increase the air going to the throttle body, then less gas will injected, and the car will stall.
The only thing that bothers me is that the check engine light doesn't light, which it will usually do if there is a detectable problem with the iacv.
Also, the drivetrain could have a problem where it stalls the engine out. Have you tried to shift it to neutral before it cuts off? If it doesn't cut off in neutral, but does cut off while in Drive, then the transmission may be at fault. I would look at the torque converter locking up in this case.
Good luck on this repair.
I need to know where
Hi, the Oil Pressure Switch is located Under hood, center, rear right side of the engine area, mounted on lower block. The switch is covered by a triangular shaped heat shield that is secured by three bolts.
How to replace lower control arm w/ balljoint on
Jack and stand your car on side to replace the arm, remove wheel,it might be easier to remove the brake rotor and caliper out of the way, now there is a shock tower that the axle goes through, remove the lower bolt, next remove the ball jiont nut and cutter pin, hit the spindle area of ball jiont, carefull to not hit the threads, remove the nut that holds the sway bar link to arm, this one can be very stuburn, remove the bolt that holds the arm to kframe, and pry the arm out, reverse the procedure.highly recommend penatrating fluid to all nuts and bolts days prior to teardown to sink in the areas. GOD LUCK, RDJRP

Engine light won.t go off
it is caused by a bad lock cylinder ( the assembly where the key goes in ). are you sure its not dieseling, or does it run like its not shut off! have a good day !! because there are many things that will make it run on, or diesel.
Car just dies while driving,
Crankshaft Position Sensor usually causes this...your Auto Parts store should be able to help you find the location
Phone number to autozone in
I tried
this link and found
4444 Kent Rd
Stow

You have to look for the store locater link; the one shown on the AutoZone home page leads to a "404 not found" page that fortunately includes the correct link in a list.
I have a 97 Dodge Stratus and Drove earlier today
check the temp gauge in the car, is it overheating? If it isn't, check the engine where the belts are. If there is coolant coming from there, it is probably the waterpump. If it is further in front of the engine, probably the radiator.
The car bogs down the long pipes were my spark
unsure what you are saying with car bogs down , if you have smoke coming out of exhaust pipes when you first start your car but o.k when running then your valve stem seals are need of replacing , if your car continue to blow smoke as you drive then your rings are gone and you will need piston and rings attended too.
if you only have oil on outside of spark plug , then your rocket/tappet cover may need a tighten or new gasket .
hope this is of some help ,as i'm not sure what you were descibing ...
WHERE IS THE BATTERY FOR
Look under the air cleaner assy. on the RH side. You might have to take the wheel off to replace it.
Brake light comes on, add brake fluid. what is the
One of the reasons is because you have a leak somewhere. Try following your brake lines starting from your brake power booster and work your way back making sure all of your connections are dry and tight. Another place to look is in on your caliber piston or if you have rear drum brakes, take off your drum and look at your brake boosters. Both have rubber seals and can leak. If all is good then look into your power brake booster. Hope this helps!
