parts moving
Hard to say IF something was ruined or reverse was about to fail
When reverse goes on a rear drive GM trans, your pretty much going to be taking it apart & rebuilding it,as reverse is the first parts into the case & the last out on disassembly
1998 chevy astrovan mil inspection failure
We had this same problem with a 1997 Z71. After putting 3 ignition switches in it in 6 months, We finally figured out that every time we used the 4 wheel Low side of transfer case the ignition would go out immediately. The electric motor that engaged the transfer case was bad & would short out ignition every time we used 4 wheel low. It was VERY expensive to repair. I fixed ignition one last time and got rid of it. Good Luck.
