The main fuse block is located in the underside of the instrument panel, in or behind the glove compartment. Remove the access cover in the glove compartment to access the fuse block. Spare fuses and a fuse puller should always be kept here. Various convenience connectors, which snap-lock into the fuse block, add to the serviceability of this unit.

My thought, replacing the headlight switch may fix your problem? Then, I looked up the cost, tax and all 3 or 4 hundred bucks, whew, that is pricey. Maybe you can find one in a salvage yard that will work? With an interior dimmer, did you try turning it all the way down?
Also, there shows to be a panel fuse 5amp in your fuse box, pull the fuse, see if light goes out? At the least it won't run the battery down, then plug the fuse back in when needed.
I did think about using an on/off switch mounted somewhere convenient to control that lamp, that isn't the proper fix.

That is controlled by what is called the "Delayed Exit Module" It should turn off the lights when any door is opened, if not then you may have a defective door ajar switch, if opening any of the 4 doors doesn't turn off the system then the module is likely defective.
